Going back would lead us to the monster, and we wanna apologise to our friends...

We are NOT apologising! I must've said this so many times now... they threw us out to a probable killer!! Who the heck does that?! Screw em, from now on we only use them to serve our needs.

You continue down the path.

As you head, the cleared path ends and there is only a long break in the trees. You push past the break, and it becomes a trail further on as a break between trees. You continue heading down and notice a large boulder.

You take note of the boulder, its intricate edges and cuts and markings.

You return to the path of woods, only to find that the path ends after a few more minutes. You turn around to head back only to realize that you are now lost. There are many different paths of cleared tree partings.

A. Take left
B. Take middle
C. Take right

Observe the roads as much as you can and take the most safe-ish route

There is no discernable difference between the paths.

You walk for a while, angry with being lost. Clearly there was an error in creating some of the signs to the paths.
Just as you delve into your thoughts, you hear the sound of twigs snapping, and a poor scent takes over the air. The night winds howl at you, shaking the trees.

I take it that was meant to be TURN BACK.

I used the code... number to letter, and then go back 1 letter in the alphabet i.e. number minus 1, and that corresponding letter in alphabet, and it comes out as STRN BACK. Hence why I thought meant to be TURN BACK?

^Not important tbh.. it's decoded now. Can we not just go back?
