Yep, they still need to fill 25 slots with only 48 nohams left. I actually think this strategy has a very good chance of winning, since they can essentially buy "alts" of the really good players for really cheap.

You just have to have players willing to sacrafice themeselves like that.... And things can get lost in communication. Needless to say it will be an interesting season.

Alts are not allowed in this league.

Basically you get someone like Timi (MoD, Summer, etc.) and pair them up on a team with a very cheap player. Timi pretty much tells the other person what to do so they function as his "alt".

That's called a puppet.

maybe he will influence his puppet in his 10 games! if he intervenes in more than 10 games i guess its called cheating...

I think maybe we need to be careful about the idea of puppets here, because arguably, someone could buy 1 good player, and the rest all cheap, and get the good player to give all the bad players all of their orders. Stuff like this kinda goes against the idea of the league I think...
