and way to late as well to mention, i think the group A clans have already voted and that chris was mentioning that he would count up the total of the votes today and give all of us the templates that actually will be played although i'm not sure about that part.
And plus, toe jam added the weaker template anyway. If anything let it be Cloud's WR one, instead of a no-luck-cycle, no edited bonuses, SR one (sorry :P)
No, group A has not voted. The panel went through them and fixed a bunch because some were missing, etc. So my plan is to post today the list that A will be voting on, and then send that list to the managers to vote on this week.
I would say once templates are approved you have at least a couple weeks before games start. I will ask all leaders for rosters once templates are released. That will take a week or more to get all those in. Then we will make tournaments an invite all players in lineups. That takes a week or more to get everyone in there. so you could get a couple weeks practice on the templates in the mean time before any games actually start.
I have not had a chance to check every setting, but I will do that on the ones that get voted in. I can say that on ALL templates, the following changes will be made, if they are not already this way...
1) 3 day boot (some templates on here I saw are RT). Also with small bank to help prevent boots. 2) AI to replace on boot (come back 2 times). AI surrenders when 1 human remains. 3) no-luck cycle will be replaced with cycle (if used). We will not have pick speed matter. 4) %16 WR will be %0 WR. No obscure attacks allowed
The voting process is that all clans in division A get to vote. I will post the templates in the next messages. The method is that some are grouped (like all strat ME), because we only want a single template from that group for variety sake...and not them competing for votes either. The way that will be done is that leaders will give points (# of template groups in total to 1) to each group. They will then give points to the templates within any groups. So, after the groups are chosen (top 6 pts in 1v1, etc)...then the top point template in that group will be chosen from it.
I will be sending the leaders a message with the templates, no voting done here. They will send me mail, I will enter them in a sheet, and then reveal it all after.
