Of course it's not 2013, and of course [20] was at it's prime a few years ago, and while it's nice that the legend lives on, it's extremely naive to still list it on active clan rankings. There's a significant number of former members still active, I assume their skill has not fallen much and are still somewhat between the general "highly skilled" to "very top" category, however except for the bunch people mentioned, they do not seem to identify themselves with [20] clan anymore.. Not to mention it was difficult to trully call it a clan at any point in time..

It would be great if the group was resurrected, but I highly doubt thats ever going to happen. I don't even remember what was the reason behind the gui-gate or however to call the beginning of the end - was it a quarrel between myhand and gui? does it even matter at this point? nope

let's all just have fun playing the game we like and got used to over the last 5 or so years.

One thing that I thought should appear at this stage with such a commited community is some kind of real life meetings and events at least in the US since the majority of players seem to come from the states, but it somehow is yet to happen. Looking forward to such in Europe. Would be nice to drink toast to and with some of you!

Masters is filled to the brim with elite players (inb4 Atom joke) and at least 5 of these won't get to compete in a Clan League team (with the 18 player max thing). I'm not them, but I think it'd be a smart idea to turn Masters into a "1 clan de-facto, 2 clans de jure" kind of thing. Where they are competitively playing against each other, but essentially one community like they are(comparable to 101st-Lynx, but in this case it's 2 elites- not an elite and intermediate).

Of the 23 players, I would say 14 are on Warlight daily and quite active. The others are a bit busy with life at the moment, but still keep their place in the clan because they show up once in a while.

A lot of folks seem to rate clans based on clan league performances and drive what happens in their clan off of the Clan League. In my opinion, a clan does not need to be centered around one competition. Sure there are 18 slots, and most of us will not play in more than 2 competitions, but that's ok.

We don't really see it like that. Every member is well worth their place and such a split would be impossible.

For me, a clan is a community of friends where everyone knows each other quite well and plays regularly. I can come online at any time of the day, and get a competitive game because one of my clan mates is guaranteed to be on. I think that is the coolest aspect about Masters.

I dont think WG is much like GG at all. Masters is more comparable IMO. WG is more like apex, smaller tight nit group. Masters and GG are much larger and tend to take on people who might not be elite but possibly up and comers

Are you going to add more clans to the list?

Chris, do you think, 'elite'-wise, you could have made it into WG if you weren't the clan creator?

I would say I am pretty versatile and will do well in any format, even if new to it. But not on an elite level (say top 10) at anything, that is for sure.

I don't know if you've seen GG's recent recruits, but they don't go for up and coming players anymore. All their players are very good when they recruit them nowadays from what I've seen. I think you ca be a tight knit community even with 20 active players honesty, depending on how often everyone is online and how much you play together. I think that masters will soon stop recruiting up and coming players as well, as they have plenty of talented members and can afford to be tighter on recruitment. Sometimes elite clans recruit for other reasons than purely the skill or potential of players.

It's mor important to have guys in a clan you get along well rather than just elite players. If that can be combined, awesome! If not, i'd rather join a less skilled clan.

The clan league is a good way to rank clans in term of skill. But for me, activity is, beside a good character, more important than high playing skill. Having someone to play at any time is something i don't want to miss ever again.
