Multi-day: http://pastebin.com/gryJ454x
Real-time: http://pastebin.com/1yNgLjRg

(sorted highest-lowest both among and within clans)

Some players (surprisingly) had never played a RT game or an MD game, so (for the appropriate analysis, to avoid skewing data) they were ignored.

Very nice summary!

The results are highly skewed towards some guys with few games and an extremely high average though.
Easy improvement: weigh by the number of games (also publicly available), i.e. multiply speed by games and divide total by total games.

Another way to solve it would be to use a robust version of the mean like a median, trimmed mean or an M-estimator.

Best way to solve it: weigh by number of games and use a robust mean (not that trivial).

Individual data points are also skewed- for example, cheeseburger (CORP) took a very long time for just one turn in one multi-day (it's the only one where he's taken more than a week for a turn) and, since he doesn't play many multi-day games, his average play speed for multi-day is now over 9 days. Unfortunately, there's no way (that I know of) to get exact times- only how many games fit in a certain range (and the ranges aren't of equal size, either) so this one's a bit trickier to solve.

Medians make sense given the skew; I could also redo this with weighting, and I think there's at least one way to do the weighing + median approach that would be pretty okay in terms of time complexity. :) Might do something of this sort when I'm bored at the airport in a few hours.

Could you do clans by number of games?

Median should be pretty easy to do, sorting the lists (they are already sorted anyway) and taking either the middle person's score (for odd length) or the average of the two middles (for even length).

The interpretation of the median could be: If you were to play a member of this clan selected at random, about 50% of the time the person will have an average speed more/less than X hours per turn.

Just crtl+f your name, easiest way to find your clan imo...

I like how I'm 5th in CORP with 27hours but I only have 5hours with optimum and I'm pretty sure I've played the same amount of games

1.07 minutes per turn in RT and 12.0 hours per turn in MD. I'm quite satisfied with those stats

1.07 min per turn is super-fast. I guess it's a bit tougher to actually find out who's fast and who isn't since 60s/turn works in 1v1 autos but doesn't work in 2v2's or team games. I wish I could get a breakdown by game type.

Honestly I just did this to see whether similar clan types (elite vs. strategic vs. RP vs. shitty RP) clustered around the same speeds due to their game types.

I have the slowest multi-day play speed in my clan by a long shot. Not really proud of that one. However, I'm the second fastest in RT games in my clan.

My average MD speed is pretty damn good. 4.03h :)

2.83m on RT though. Not sure if proud or not.

It would be nice to see a summary by clan (without the individual players) at the top of the page.
Also, please consider sorting the "speed" listings by least to longest amount of time.

Suggestions for additional rankings:
- highest average level by clan
- highest win rate by clan - probably should separate out 1x1, FFA, and Team play, and/or with an equation something like the below...

1x1 wins * (1x1 win rate)/0.5 + 3 player FFA wins * (3FF win rate)/0.333 + etc...
