You can't say that the Bantu people were the first colonizers since South Africa as a country fills up more than the western cape. If you said that the Bantu people came and raided the Western Cape I would agree but otherwise I have to disagree with you.

Also colonising is a certain term that implies a large influence on structure and culture etc. So I wouldn't say the Portuguese were colonisers neither were the Bantu people. The Khoi people weren't influenced by the Portuguese and neither were they by the Bantu people. Khoi and Bantu languages are very different. There are also no similarities between khoi and Portuguese. HOWEVER there are some Afrikaans words that are khoi and vice versa as well as Malay.

The Khoisans were the first human beings to live in what is now South Africa and also a region comprising lands from Congo to the Cape. The Bantus originally came from nowadays Nigeria to senegal millenias ago (perhaps 2000 years ago not sure I dont remember it well but you can check the info anyway).
If you even do not know this whereas it is part of your own continent/nation history, so then why are you making so much threads about African facts since you seem to not master your own subject.

The Bantus did colonize their lands, they did replaced the former Khoisans and mass murdered them (also comprising the Pygmees), put them into slavery, or forced them to use their customs and habits. If this is not a colonization-like situation, then tell me what is this?

Yes, I know they were massacred by the Bantu, I mentioned it in an earlier post. But the Khoi are very different in culture and language. I never heard of Bantu people originally being from Nigeria so Im gonna need a source for that.

Also about the Pygmees I am not sure they are related with the Khoisans, all I know is they are native people mostly located in Congo, and were massively exterminated (Bantu people considered them as animals because they had some weird physical features) or put into slavery.

not trying to fan the flames here, but m-hunters are kind of known for being "mouthy pricks" because your most visible clanmates on the forums are norman and youmustbekidding (obviously norman's alt, and if not norman's alt, someone who talks shit in the name of your clan anyway), and formerly nogals (just recently left your clan, so still associated in some peoples' minds)

i try very hard not to generalize, so i'm not gonna judge people in your clan based on those 3. and ben and me and everyone else should take the trash talk either as a joke, or something sad and pathetic (i will always assume it's tongue in cheek). either way nothing to get upset about, at most just fodder for more jokes and trash talking. i will go hard on nogals though, cause his comments seems to actually be angry and hurtful and not even remotely good natured.

i suggest a good natured clan battle between awf and m-hunters. not as a way to see who's better, but just to be friendly and show each other that we're all decent people. and more than anything else we're here to play warlight and have fun.

and to put this back on topic:

from what i know, cade seems like a decent guy, and if he is able to put in the work he will have a decent clan. there's always a chance colonel will tank their reputation with some unpopular opinion, but that's totally up to the falcons how much they value forum reputation. i think the more important thing is game reputation, so you should be active on removing people that set up rigged games, people known for ruining diplos, etc.

i don't know why anyone has an issue with thomas. in my opinion he did a good thing by handing over leadership when he didn't want to deal with it anymore. he does make some goofy ass forum posts sometimes, but it's rarely anything toxic.

any clan trying to improve should be celebrated and encouraged. good luck with everything, cade.

Nogals was an ordinary clan member while I'm an admin of the Master Hunters officially representing our clan. The M'Hunters clan is centered around a more mature audience, not teenage clan fanboyz, raging when their clan gets "attacked". Everything I say is automatically d'accord with our clan policies and this is because I (together with the other admins of course) define our clan policies. Not every M'Hunters member is a notorious trashtalker however if someone has a problem with trashtalk the Master Hunters aren't for him.

The reason being is that during the height of the xenophobia attacks in South Africa. This point was never mentioned by the government or anyone. I don't see why they would leave this out as people were literally then killing their brothers and sisters.

doing a quick google search I found this.

As you can see Nigeria isn't listed as under the Bantu languages. The Khoi isn't under the entire South Africa either. I do agree that the Bantu people massacred the khoi many years ago. viz. when I mentioned the origins of the term xhosa however I've never heard of Nigeria being the origin of the Bantu language.

The whole of Africa is British, I don't know what this map is on about.
