Another, there's no way to determine what the German army has underground. This is a kind of shifty site you gave, and probably follows just the public announcements of the governments. I mean, it's putting Russia as second most powerful army, not counting nuclear powers? And America first? It's strong, but not that strong. You need to read about the Sardinian basement.

As for freedom, every country has freedom. Freedom is a word made to more harshly criticise more laws, but every country, yes Eritrea, yes Pyongyang, has freedom. But in some countries (and generally the more powerful they are, the worse this is), you can't speak or do against the government without risking punishment, some redaction. And good propaganda will almost always cover this up, or toss it into hiding. Good authoritarianism redacts without making suspicion, and makes fake propaganda. Germany is a very powerful country, definitely in the top 10. Amnesty International, though it claims to be independent and nonprofit, is almost certainly funded by NATO members, chiefly probably America. And Freedom House? They don't even try to hide it - they are funded by the American government, but at least they admit it.
