Well based on experience I would say two of my top favorite clans to be in was The Lost Wolves and After dark ( the old days ). The worst for me was The Royal Entente and the DARKLORDS

My post was really meant to illustrate Chris' point that the OP's criteria weren't clear but now that I think of it those are my favorite clans on Warlight

Clans that I've been in :

1. CORP (<3. Nah, seriously, it's the best clan.)
2. After_Dark (back when it was fun, loads of good people were here, a part of them are now in CORP)
3. The Lost Wolves (surprisingly high? Maybe. But I do enjoy the high forum activity. I do not like some of the people there, but most of them are fine, even though rather young)
4. Gentlemen's Clan (some really interesting people in there)
5. The Royal Falcons (well, I picked them because they were really active back when they were founded. And then drama striked and the clan was blown up by Wolves. It never recovered from it. Besides, it was the first clan in which I actually did something. But then CORP was founded...)

I didn't rate the small strategic clans based on their present quality but instead on my perception of the sort of value they offer their members + their likelihood of growth. I guess {Olympus} was the only miss in that arena- I haven't kept up with them since I left CORP and stopped operating CSL.

We probably don't qualify as an elite clan. Even if we can play at high level, our prerequisite are only low bootrate, being active and the ability to speak french.

But French players are very good at Warlight. Your clan is proof itself.

GG and Apex are the strongest I guess.

The Conservative. You have never been a member of the Royal Entente, and your comparison of a ten-member clan to the DARKLORDS is completely vile.

I don't see any Wolf here claiming to be the #1 clan on WarLight. I see a Wolf claiming that out of the 4 clans he's been in, the Wolves are better than The Time Lords of Gallifrey, The Fourth Reich, and Victrix Mortalis. You can debate VM are better / worse than Wolves, but overall, it's a fair statement.

From what I remember on the forums months ago FK just use to enjoy bashing on diplo clans, well diplo in general.

Maybe it makes him feel better to put people down, who knows.

We, the Wolves, make no claim to be better or worse then any clan. This list is just my opinion on the four clans I have been in, of which I found the Timelords more enjoyable to be around rather then the bickering that took place for most of my stay in Vitrix, I am sure if I did not split with the others Vitrix would be number 1.


We are one of the most popular clans for Diplomacy's and Templates of the like. That I think can be agreed with by almost any who have known our members, been in our clan, or in general are apart of it.


When it comes to Skill in FFA's, we have a few good members such as Marco and Siezure, however anyone claiming that we have alot of great players and games for FFA's are lying.


In conclusion there is no set way to determine the best clan... I think very little will say Darklords is the best because they are on the top of the board, I doubt there is any reward to the oldest running, or "best" diplomatic or strategic clans, seeing as how that is always subject to change fast.
