Most people do. Just some people come in with alts because that way they can be honest without having to deal with the consequences.

I love it how people care what other people on the internet think about them. Maybe on social media platforms its understandable but on an online strategy game? Oh please.

Some of us like our nice guy image on the forums and showing up with an alt allows us to speak freely without tarnishing the reputation of our mains.....ya dumb jerk!

I had a main account from 2012 and then I created this one because of high bootrate with my other(this is due to me just letting myself get booted and not caring, this being before I played competitively). now I see this as my main and my previous as my alt as I use warlight daily with this account and every second day with the other to make a move in 2v2ladder which is all I use it for. I know some people use alts because if they used their actual accounts then no one would join out of fear and some people use it to troll.

TL;DR:

• due to highbootrate
  
• due to no one willing to join if their actual account where used
  
• to troll
  

These are the only reasons I can think of, sure there are others.

I don't have an alt account, that's make me a honest person too right?

I openly state on my other profile that this is my other account. I never play with or against myself, doesn't make me less honest.

I use this account for all my forum business i don't care what people think of me that's why openly express myself here

The real question here is, why wouldn't you have an alt account? All da coo kids be doin it.

But if I had to give a serious answer, its simply because I can have an alt. So I will have one.

My main concern about alts is they they are used for trolling.

My 2nd concern is that they are used for identity theft
