Literally every complaint about ads is easily solved with a membership. It's magical, honestly.

I guess that what MrHymen is trying to say is not that he's troubled by the presence of sexual toys ads on his own page, but that he's concerned that the presence on the website of people with names referring to sexual stuff may cause troubles to Fizzer due to the ads; correct me if I got something wrong.

Honestly, I always thought the ads were provided by Google based on the user's own history, but judging from the rule Fizzer wrote, ads may also depend on the website content: in this case, the point brough up by MrHymen makes sense.

The entire start of your post was referring to the Poonsquad. While you threw in a few other questions at the end of it this entire thread is obviously about them.

No, I just couldn't think of anyone else at that time. There are plenty of other players who use sexual themes as a basis for their name but they're not in our faces. As such at that time they were first in mind.

With all the rules they're trying to put in on the internet and the looks of someone like Trump getting into the White house, they'll start either fighting or following his/other peoples ways. If they follow (Which they most probably will being american business I'm on about here) we'll see a lot more enforcing of rules that weren't even considered.

I don't attack players or clans. The rules are there for a reason and it's either follow them or change them. Breaking the rules always brings bad tides in the short or long term. They're there for a reason.

@buns: Advertisers just don't like seeing their product associated with certain things. For example, Coke doesn't want their ads displaying next to pictures of domestic violence on /r/beatingwomen2. They want to control their brand. But I don't think they particularly care about Warlight since it's not that big of a demographic and not very egregious, either. And sexuality probably isn't the biggest of their concerns- especially given its prevalent use in advertising.

I gotta say something... I got an identical ad (buy Orphan Black season 3 on dvd now please) on separate websites... including this one. I have watched that show exactly once.
(also when I do my looking at women I do it in incognito mode)

Because most websites uses Google AdSense, which (from what I can tell) seems to be heavily based on your more recent actions. I visited Serebii.Net last week (nostalgia) and started getting Pokemon/video game ads a lot more often.

Also, you need to watch the rest of Orphan Black.

Fizzer is VERY scared of losing players and alienating his current player base which is why so much slips through BUT Fizzer is meant to have this grand master plan to bring in a massive flood of new active players...
That's the situation we have to think about. If we have hundreds of thousands of active players currently (Fizzers estimate) and we end up with say.. a couple of Million. This forum will explode into troll central because well, that's all people really see here so it /MUST/ be alright to do.
Can we handle 3..4..5..6x the shit we get on these forums now? Not a chance.

But pooncrew are not trolls, they just make occasional threads about their clan. From what ive seen they just get to you.

Also if there is a new influx of new players, are they really going to see how much you can troll by looking at pooncrew? No, people who troll other websites are going to troll here too, all what is needed is one or two mods (more depending on growth).

Just spend some time looking around and you'll see these forums are full of trolls and assholes, it's an unfortunate fact and one that as a community we have accepted and are trying to change BUT nothing is happening quick enough and if Fizzer has any decent ideas (Other than this +1/-1 on players thing which I can't see working out well here) then he's not sharing.

When people join they will probably check out the forums, see it's a trollville and either
1.Not bother with them, therefore losing what could be decent players from involved conversation
2.Troll because that's the norm here. If they can get away with it, they will. Why wouldn't they? It's not like the Mods have any real power here which we've demonstrated plenty of times on this forum.

Welp. I retire. If Fizzer gets his way and we get millions of players then watch this site die and all the good players leave. We have a decent player base but compared to when I joined I've watched it go downhill so fast.
