As long as Fizzer works on the feedback of his players, everything will be OK
And the oppertunity to proposals is present so I'm happy with that but still
Upgrades like advertisements, coin games, CLOTS, less membership advantages in settings is a punch in the face of the (member)community

Lol I'd actually gladly pay for monthly membership even if it's costlier on a per-month basis than annual or lifetime. Subscription membership would probably be a winning idea. The chief reason players like me aren't spending $35 on lifetime memberships is because I don't know whether I'll still be involved in this community in 3 months.

I agree with subscriptions. It's a system I've loved. Ooh, and we should also be able to buy subscriptions to WarLight magazine!

^ Instead of a magazine, how about a monthly coin tournament that's WL-official and has its winner as the Champion of WL or something for that month? Basically, an improved version of the Coin Leaderboard that crowns the "best" player in WL each month and recognizes them. I bet people would actually want to compete in that- it's a tournament that people paid to join and therefore can be expected to generally not get booted from and actually play in.

Warlight is not a casino with a jackpot prise, if your proposal is introduced I would leave this site because paying to become the best warlight player is against my principles (and also against the principles of warlight I think AND I HOPE)

I think it would be better to get an influx of more players, improving the game on sites like Kongregate and Armorgames would draw a lot of new players in. Also making all players on 1 server instead of several, making all the various versions homogeneous too would really increase the number of players.

Having a chat system like we have on Kongregate would help a lot too, in my opinion, it's weird there's no easy way to chat with everyone, unless I'm missing something...?

My idea is to make a tournament ladder.. you join random 2-3 tournaments at time.. small tournament single or double eliminetion with max 16 teams.. 16tournamen1616tournaments×16teams=256 teams. Then the 16 winners make a round robin

I believe Fizzer needs to focus on the Warlight mobile app. Mobile platforms are currently among the most popular gaming platforms. I, along with many others, found Warlight on an app store while looking for Risk clones. If he could get the app higher on the charts, he will be drawing in tons of new players.

To be fair though it's hard to play this game on mobile. Screen size is small and it's way harder to play than on a computer screen. I'm not so sure how well this game translates into mobile.

It translates farely well.

Notable issues being stuff you'd generally expect. Hard to view your move order. Hard to make picks. Can't see territory, bonuses names easily. Chat system is pretty hard. That sort of thing.

I think I agree, even though I don't use mobile, a lot of players seem to, if Fizzer improved the app, makes it easier to play, maybe adding in simple stuff that auto-fills in attacks or something. That would draw more people in. Players might also transfer over to the warlight site from there too.

I'm surprised the mobile app is on the same server as the Warlight site, maybe if he did that with all the other servers that would help population too.

Just an idea. What about something like Patreon? Fizzer might be able to use that to make the money to do things and I'm sure the community would do it (We all love the game enough).
I would personally rather give a monthly using Patreon that paying for what is currently a rather useless membership

It'd be great of Fizzer added an alternative to PayPal as well. :| My main bank account isn't friendly with PayPal.

Nah M8. Warlight's not dying.

There are some changes that could be made in order to help Warlights long term survival, like certain features being member only again. But that's Fizer's choice. Coins is a good method of generating income and I am sure Fizzer has many more for the future.

Let's hope so.
