That is what I thought. I was confused by what Kur said "All that the Government of Japan knows is that Iran still survives".

(Apologies, it was my understanding they were still in existence. However it can still play into the RP. News from Europe and the Middle East wouldn't reach Japan easily, realistically speaking. We would have to rely on old information. Ill make sure to exclude Iran in my next post.)

Minister Muhammed al-Zav decided to press on with the expansion of Huwhili. The current military is retired, and instead 20,000 Irani males between 16 - 35 have been recruited into the Huwhili military in preparation for war with the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia. Huwhili sends scouts to Pakistan, to observe their nation and its surroundings.

The nation of Huwhili, now containing a populous of 145,000, becomes the most powerful nation in the middle east, and possibly the world. As far as they know, they are the only nation to have nuclear warheads at their disposal.

Their economy has been revamped however. They've pilfered the Irani gold stash and have scraped together some remnants of paper currency to form a new currency : the Zav. 1 Zav is worth 1 / 100 of a kilogram of gold. The introduction of a gold standard economy is proving successful for Huwhili, as they loosen their belts and begin introducing a more socialist system into their country.

Portugal is disgusted by what Basque have done to us, and has no other option than to declare war on Basque. We have sent a messenger to Granada to help us. Our first and second armies is moving along the North West coast of Iberia, while a lot of our navy is going round the Iberian peninsula. Our third and fourth armies, and some of our navy is staying at the Berber coast, to invade the States that are paying you, and to fight off the weak forces that raided Rabat.

Israel pushes deeper into Jordan and Tel Aviv gains Crete, Rhodes ,Cyprus and now borders Israel.

Basque bandits control most of the Spanish interior, we dig in on multiple chokepoints along the invasion route and harass Granadan and Portuguese troops and supply lines, a Catalonian naval force harrases Grenadan trade routes, and we start bombing bridges near where expected Portuguese invaders will come from.

Galician mercenaries have been hired to harass Portuguese supply lines.

The Battle of Galicia has begun, as Portuguese troops meet up with Galician Mercenaries and Basque soldiers in Galicia. The Portuguese armies have one very good general, and one average one. Galician and Basque strategies are unknown, but this is a large amount of Basque troops to be meeting so early.

The three divisions of the Basque forces are : 1st Armored division made out of a typical balance of tanks, motorized artillery, and motorized infantry. 2nd and 3rd rifle divisions are composed out of infantry, transport helicopters, attack helicopters, APCs, and artillery. Galician mercenaries are mostly composed of infantry and improvised fighting vehicles.

Catalonia has stated it has entered the war to stop impressment of Catalonian sailors by the Granadan navy

With the failed Invasion of Tuscany, Sicilly attempts to reorganize its Military. However, Disorder and the Lack of Manpower is causing Major Problems in the Mafia State. 2 Days after the Victory, an Alpine-Tuscan Army equipped with NATO Tanks and Weapons marches into the Sicillian Border

From there, they advance South to Ancona. By the Time they arrive at Ancona, the City is in Anarchy, News is that the Sicillian Government is collapsing. The Alpine-Tuscan Forces manages to restore Order in the City and enforce Martial Law. After capturing Ancona, they proceed to Naples where they find it in ruins

The Mediterranean expedition of Huwhili has uncovered the berber city states and Sicily to them. They report to us a dire military situation. We heavily consider their requests for reinforcements, offering a great portion of their gold if we can do so. 5,000 more Iranians are drafted into huwhili military service, and war is declared on the UAE and Saudi Arabia. The 3 armies mobilize for an engagement along the western coast of the Persian Gulf.

Between the Tigrus and Euphrates, General Yech of 16,000 Infantry engages al-Qib of his 4 full divisions that together compose 40,000 infantrymen. Yech must rely on the speed of General Dreb's forces to hit al-Qib in his unprotected rear with tank and car power.

Battle of the Coast
On the Allied side of the River Valley, General Gunder meets the military genius of "Krik" Leon. Leon was responsible for the the Huwhili Victory in the Irani-Huwhili War, and must repeat his prowess here. Leon's 7,000 Infantry face 10,000 infantry with 400 tanks to boot.

The Battle of Galicia has been won by the Portuguese. Using their superior numbers, and similar military equipment, the Portuguese forces overwhelmed the Basque and Galician forces. Over 1,000 Galician forces were killed, before the rest surrendered, and joined the Portuguese ranks. Over 15,000 of first Basque division surrendered, and began retreating to their borders. General Eduardo Santana of the First Portuguese Army fears that as they go along the North Spanish coast, there will be more Basque divisions to come. 35,000 of the 60,000 Portuguese soldiers survived, with an extra 3,000 Galician mercenaries.

Granada is currently blockaded by Catalonian ships, with Catalonian men dismounting and going onto the coast. Small amounts of reinforcements are sent to Granada, to fend them off.

The War of the Berber Coast has reached a stalemate. Portugal retake control of Rabat, but hold off their borders as it is. Remigio Melo, general of the Fourth Portuguese Army strategised that controlling the Berber coast is more important than getting to Basque itself, because Basque receive a large amount of tribute from the Berber states.

A civilisation along the North African coast has been found. It goes by the name of "Oran". It is a lone city state, made of surviving Algerians. They seem to be about the same technology as the Berber States, but do not have any close civilisations. Once the war with Basque is over, soldiers will be sent to colonise this state. Further expeditions are made to go along the North African Coast.

We have lost contact with the ship sent to the USA.
