Clan league 6 is not over, but progressing far:

https://www.warlight.net/Forum/76938-clan-league-6-official-thread

What I need is to know who will be playing next league.

I have gotten interest in next league from: G Spot, Ohms, Coalition of Role Playing friends. I think there are more as well.

I will also need a scoring/update person for each Division. It appears LEA will move to C, so we will need someone new to do that in D. Master Turtle will be in B, so we need someone from C, unless the LEA person wants to do that again. Lolo/Wakanarai can decide on who wants to do A perhaps. Anyway, if you want to do recaps please let me know. I do want the sheets to be the same next time, so we will need to have Lolo provide that template next time around so it all looks standard.

Here is a breakdown of the process I will use to transition from League 6 to 7:

1) Call for what clans are in/out next season
2) Find people to keep score in each division (may tweak based on undecided promotions/relegations from 6
3) Wait for finish league 6
4) Call for rosters in 7 (players not assigned to templates, just a list of people who will likely play so we can weed out alts)
5) vote on templates (Division A votes on them, but any clan leader in league 6 can nominate 1 template not in current league)
6) Call for lineups
7) create scoring sheets based on lineups
8) create tournaments with lineups

I will do a write up for new clan league leaders as well, as division D was anything but smooth this time to get going

EDIT - Master list of who is in/out:
IN:

If we have a large number if new clans (most of these follow through), then there will be Two Divisions for the new ones, with a single promotion from each. So basically, it operates the same as Frank's promotion league.

Icelandic Turtles plans to continue competin; however, we will be almost an entirely new clan for next season so it may take us time to give you a roster.

Reguardless if I play for MASTERS or Icelandic Turtles I can plan on score keeping for Group B.

As a clan leader I would like to nominate 2v2 Guirope. Similar to Szeurope but it has distinct differences. Template link: http://warlight.net/MultiPlayer?TemplateID=247736

As a reminder, NO ALTS allowed. If you are using an alt because you are in two clans, it must be declared to me and you can only play for a single clan.

The biggest issue I had with D this league was that players would not join tournaments, or join the wrong team. So any new clans MUST coordinate with who is playing and make sure they understand what will happen on their end. Forbidden Knowledge is going to help me there coordinating with new clans. It is pretty simple for a player if communication is there. You get invited, join your clan mate. Period. From a leader standpoint, just make sure your players know this. Don't submit a lineup with people not aware what is even going on.

If you could add more info about when the league is expected to start, how many members is needed to participate and how many different games we'll be playing vs. each clan. I didn't find much info in your thread, other than the participants, the templates used last season and who's arranging all this.
I'm guessing three is the minimum needed, as it only goes up to 3v3, or what?

I might sign up Hollerin' Servants. Just need to be sure exactly what we're signing up for

Yep. Very simple: you talk with us, you go where we tell you. Nothing too complicated unless you make things complicated.... and if that happens, I hope you spill your coffee this morning -.-

RE: About the league...

I think it is all in the link I posted, but I will put it in here too.

There are 4 divisions (A-D) with 6-7 clans in each division. Clans that finish in the top 2 in their division are promoted to the next division in the next season. Bottom 2 are relegated. All new clans start in D and work their way up, so they are not playing the vets right away.

The clans compete in 11 formats, each one is a round robin tournament with 1 team per clan (so 6-7 teams). There are Six 1v1 templates, Three 2v2 templates, Two 3v3 templates. You can see the exact templates for this season here:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1CLtIe1TP-owIKQbf9Q-Gx6Bct9QJl7ZRMTFtzF3r6FU/edit#gid=655240736

Each season, the clans in division A vote on the templates for next season (1 vote per clan). Usually there are minor changes (for example, this season we added Europe Straight Round in the past they were both Weighted Random).

So when you make your roster, you will need to wait until templates are finalized. Each player may only participate in 4 formats (does not matter team size). So that means with 18 player slots (for the 11 formats), you MUST have 5 or more players to compete. You can have up to 18 players (each would only play a single slot).

As far as when, that is dependent on the current season. It could take a month for that to finish, so I am using this period to gauge interest. When the current league ends, we can submit and vote on new templates (this will take a couple weeks). Then ask for lineups (again another couple weeks). And make the sheets/tournaments (maybe another week).

So basically you are talking 2-3months from now starting league 7. But if clan leaders are quick and responsive with votes, rosters, etc it can start a bit faster.

Could you run through how it works for me, so do we have to have a person for the 1v1 group, 2 for the 2v2 etc, or do we just chose people each game?

There will be a series of simultaneous round robins. You'll need to provide teams for each template- so each person is dedicated to a template or set of templates and represents your clan team in that capacity.

Each player can compete in up to a maximum of 4 tournaments. So the clan leader makes a line up and assigns certain players to certain round robin tournaments. You give the line up to the league runners and they will invite your player to the tournament. Once he joins he gets his games and pre-designated scorekeepers will keep track of points...

All the league information is here or linked here. There shouldnt be more questions I dont think..... (I basically just read to you what you should have read yourself)

Hades: There will be 11 formats (like I said they may change slightly). You will have 18 player 'slots' for those 11 formats (since some are team games). Let's go through your steps as a clan manager:

1) sign up to play - going on now
2) give me a roster - anytime, but I suggest waiting until current season is done as someone may go inactive. This will be 5-18 players, whatever you will probably use
3) Give me lineup - not until templates are posted, then I will ask for lineup.

For #3, this is an example from Botanator (for BIA):

Strat ME - Botanator
Poland - Tartan
Greece - Botanator
Guiroma - Gajda
Battle Is - Tartan
Strat ME SR - Gajda

China - Drumming/Dragon
Guiroma - Piper/Big E
Szeuropa - Piper/Kkamill

EU 0% SR 4x4 - Botanator/Piper/Bigby
EU 0% WR 4x5 - Nordic/Bigby/Drumming

^Again, nobody can play more than 4 spots...so no name should appear more than 4 times in that example

I believe it was mentioned earlier that the clans that won their respective divisions would also get a vote on the templates. Is that still happening?
