I expected way more interest in this. Is the RT portion putting people off? Or something else?

You know, the initial rt argument was the length of the event and the length of the event is dependent upon the number of participants. It's not too late to reconsider full md if that'd bring at least a few more teams.
Food for thought

@Szeweningen: The argument of RT is not only length of the event, it's also streamability. I want to be able to have consistent games to cover twice a week. Also if we make it MD, we'll get more teams then the series will last even longer, to the point I wouldn't be able to control the event to be finished within a year. (Take Clan League for example. Great event, lasts almost an entire year sometimes). Sure we could do vacations off, but with the volumes of games and the fact some people will prefer to take their full 3 days, a 10-turn game turns into a 30-day game. Even if I started all the games at the beginning of the event, the load would be too heavy, and there's still no guarantee that a game won't last 18 turns, which is almost 2 months. I cannot stream consistently like that.
I really do need it RT for pacing and to be able to stream. If we want competitive events like this streamed, then we're going to need more players willing to play RT.
@Chris: Alternates are used for almost every competitively streamed team game, so even if all 6 of you could play RT on the days described, you deserve the right to switch out players. It's the same for sports. Maybe Warlight isn't ready for this kind of an event, but just counting from the top clans (those in A) we have this many active competitive players: ~126. These are also people who are logged in, today. That's 21 teams if all take 6 people in. We're not even counting those who are semi-competitive who could actually play in this series and do well. (3 teams in my mailbox are not part of what we'd consider top competitive clans. Infact one is from a clan we consider to be trolls, but they seem to be more serious members from it.)
No one from GG has joined, from Lynx we have 1 alternate, none from warlighters/french, 1 from AHoL, and 1 from blitz so far. These guys have all played the template ;/. Idk what's really stopping them.
