So far I see mostly positive feedback for 3+3 boot for 1v1 games and negative for 4+3 teamgames.

But there's simply not enough people providing feedback so far. We need more people sharing their opinions if we are to change anything. Like we had for the initial 5 suggestions at the start of this thread.

So, anyone else wants to weigh in? :)

Personally the faster that team games can go the better. I'd prefer them to be 3+3 but 4+3 is fine.

3+3 for 1v1 seems reasonable, than you can have 1 emergency on your banked time

4 base for team is a great idea, the +3 might be a little low since teams tend to need more time
but the goal of this is to have teams play faster so its fine by me
with 3 players on the team you're already in theory up to 9 days banked per team (although most times the entire team uses banked at once)

i do realize that people can have emergencies/real-life and need a little banked time to go AFK for a couple days, but realistically speaking 85% of people is going to use their banked time on picks, so lets not make it too high

I reckon most people could cope with those boot and bank times. I'd not be opposed to slightly more banked on teamgames - Possibly 10 days total of boot time + banked.

3 days boot and 7 days banked maybe - allows you to get to the weekend for a detailed picks discussion and still have a little left over for example.

For team games, I think the x + y should be at least 7 (a week), because some people are busy during the week and some people are busy on the weekend. I've never gotten the sense that 1v1 games have held up the schedule, so I'm indifferent for those games (relatively short should be fine).

2v2: 3 + 5
3v3: 3 + 6 or 3 + 7

This still reduces games by 8-10 days.

I'd say keep the turn time 3 days.

for me it is like this: i do not manage to look into my games daily, i‘d say every second or third day on average. for some of my clan mates it was similar in the past. this means:
- for single player games: any boot time >= 3 days will work.
- for team games: a typical sequence of a turn is:
1) one player does the counting work, removes the fog and creates a summary of the game for the other players
2) all players put in a proposal for their orders
3) proposals are discussed among the players asyncronously
4) one player takes a decision about the orders for all players
5) all players adjust their orders and commit
this typically takes 2 - 3 days for steps 1) and 2), 2 - 3 days for steps 3) and 4) and 1 day for step 5).
so for me, it looks i‘d prefer to have 5 days for 2v2 and 7 for 3v3 (could be spilt in boot and banked somehow).
less time than this leads to less interactions among the players in one team, and so makes team games less fun for me.

Ok, there's definitely not enough support for 4+3 boot for team games.

The 3+3 for 1v1 games however seems quite popular. Was there even 1 negative opinion on that?
