Hello!
I enjoy playing local deployment (FFA with a big map). But it take's a long time to fill all armies at the begining of each turn.

Could it be possible to add a setting "fill all territories"?

Thank you for this improvement.

fill all territories? but what would you do in multiple territories bonuses? if a 5 territories bónus gives you 3 troops?

To be clear, an example in local deployement :

I play on a big map, so I have about 50 territories.
For each territory, deploy my armies
South India +10
North India +20
Pakistan +20
Alaska +10
Texas +50
New York +50
Albania +10
etc... for each of my 50 territories!!!

I let you imagine what's happen when play with a smartphone with more than 100 territories...
I have no added value on this operation.

So I ask a setting in order to fill all territories (in any case I have to do it, in order to finish the turn)

Maybe something to highlight the territories you can deploy in? Or if you click on the bonus in the deploy part it send you right to those territories?

And just how would you handle an 'auto-fill' for multi-territory bonuses... ya know, the kind that are used in normal maps?

It would indeed be a nice feature for 1-territory bonuses though.

Multiple territories

Auto-Placement

  • First Closest to enemy
  • then closest to neutral
  • All armies are placed in a stack.

Not Perfect of course, - feel free to improve

With placing armies you have to do 3 thing:
1. select the territory, 2. amount of armies, 3. confirm the order.

Maybe a option that you place the max. amount of armies with just one click?
That would save 2/3 of the time.

Or maybe have the option to have it auto-fill the territories in the same manner that you deployed last turn.

I've always thought you should be able to set a "rally point" in a territory where all the deployment for that bonus would start being deployed. This could of course be manually modified in the deploy phase, and rally points would persist from turn to turn until you change or remove them.

When I play LD games (especially on large maps) I usually establish "supply lines" on the fast paths through territories that are not bordering enemies. So I often deploy to the same place and send the troops the same way for many turns in a row.

In the map I play, there is only individual bonus : 1 territory = 1 bonus.

Yeah for the 2012 map this could work as each territory is one bonus.
