So I've joined a game (hasn't started yet) which has a player who deleted their account before it started, and the host is saying it is not possible to remove them. If that is the case, I suggest that it becomes a possibility, or else they will obviously get booted right away, which is pointless.

Let's test this, I'll invite you to a game and you delete your account.

yeah, it would be cool if delete players auto-declined any games/tournaments they can, as well as leave ladders/QM (they might do that already, didnt test those)

maybe even auto-surrender or auto-boot from any ongoing games? tho that might mess up some FFA's and games where only booted players go AI and surrendered players dont?

On a related note, deleted accounts on the friends list also stay stuck on the friends list without any method of removing them. It would be nice to clear that up too.

Easy fix for unstarted games, as JK pointed out, not so straight forward for started games; I guess on games with no AIs, just surrender; for games with AIs, just switch them to AIs regardless of Boot/Surrender criteria, b/c Deletion can be viewed as a sort of Surrender (giving up the game entirely) but also a kind of Boot (b/c they're not playing)

But yea it sucks for started games, no real way to fix that problem, notably diplos where that player was an important role, but hey, diplos will diplo

(I have a feeling the deleted account is mine) I think you have to go onto the profile to press remove, which doesn't work because it's deleted

I dislike the whole idea of deleting accounts in the first place, to be fair. Just go inactive and change your password to something random. I don't see why that option should even exist.

Its because of people's rights for privacy. People has right to be able to delete anything they own on the internet. Fizzer gave me this account for free, I own this account if I want this account to be destroyed, I have the right to do that. If "delete account" button didn't existed, Fizzer would legally have to delete people's accounts one by one, all by himself...

- You're getting a little off-track, To sum it up; "Deleted accounts should be kicked from Pending Games, Ladders, QM and Friend Lists automatically"

I will add this to my list for a future update (may not be the next one though, since the next one is already too big)
