you should also take 10 days to make your turn. see if you can get them to play chicken into an accidental boot

- It's very simple actually. Bliss Machine basically told not to join games even if you don't like one setting. At least in diplo games, things don't work that way (and my whole message was about that)

- Happy to help. You already explained it clearly, I don't know why some people failed to understand you. Looks like they think, "people joins games only if they love all the settings" and thankfully its not the case (if it was, all games would be dead due to people not joining).

- Purposely delaying a game would normally be illegal. Acts against sportsmanship are punished but this specific action is not, because there is no reliable way to detect it (your case is of course exception since the person himself admitted it). However, you are right. Fizzer shouldn't allow "purposeful delays" just because its not easy to detect. He can make it a rule without enforcement (like International Court, finding Putin guilty for kidnapping children without any power to enforce it).

What would 45 and 50 APT do? Attack each other much? Obviously not. They would attack the bigger player first, or they will lose.
Every army fought against 45 and 50 APT is every army not fought against their biggest threat, the 75 APT player. That's a problem with FFAs.

- I agree, there is no reason for me to make any argument. You can literally see that diplo is categorized under classic if you just look at the classic dashboard. If you still have any confusion, you can ask people who are actual authority on this (admins or Fizzer) instead of your friends

there's no point in this thread being continued further. It can be summed up as:

@OP, we sympathize that you have to suffer through this, but nothing can be done since you technically agreed that this could happen by joining a game/tournament with a 10 day boot timer. You can do other things, like blocklist, but you can't report someone for this.
