just like idle, we should be able to ascend to profile level 1 when we die. atm the leveling system grows stale at roughly level 58 due to the high amount of XP needed.

each time you ascend (maybe from level 60). you gain 2x XP boost and other things hopefully, such as a icon beside your name similar to the membership one.
(A1)(A2) for example. maybe with some other rewards like coins and colours thrown in randomly (achievements as well )

this allows the player base to be more competitive in leveling and allows up to break past the soft lock that leveling currently puts us in with the multiplier boost. allowing us to reach levels like 70 and higher

And every ascension you get an idle reward!

Why though? The only benefit of having Classic ascensions would be some pointless profile status marker, which already exists in the form of high levels past 56. And the levels on Classic actually matter for unlockables. This just sounds like a mess.

As l4v said, isn't L61 essentially Ascension #1, L62 #2 and so on?

The reason Ascension & Super Ascension exist in Idle is b/c without them, the game is finished, there's nothing left to do.

With Classic though, other than what you can create yourself, the game never changes from L1 to L-infinity, it's always just been about how you can hone your own game skills vs others.

But a part of me senses that this was not a serious post . . . it literally said "ascend . . . when we die", and not even sure what that means, lol.

Fizzer could decide to unlock some popular mods in levels 70+. Imagine being able to play modded games in CL. Wow.

While I'm not entirely sure if I agree with UFO or not, I must admit that staleness in the "end game" of WZ does appear to be present, for those who like the whole "dangling carrot" mechanics.

I think some sort of achievement fluff would be nice if a level/xp balance couldn't be re-worked. Also, badges seem pretty nifty.
