Maybe, but I suspect its the same as when you receive a poor arti from a raffle: a popup you close without reading it.
A lot of players are reporting they need to manually sync before their artifacts show up, so 'just' might not be for everyone.

I had to sync and then I believe it said "reward recieved" and there I had my artifacts in the artifact list.
