Hi,

my laptop fan is going crazy while I am playing Warzone Idle. Does somebody else see this behaviour- Except from Warzone Idle there is no other task where this happens, does somebody know why it takes so much power? Is there a bitcoin miner in the background tasks or what is going on? (I, personally, would prefer this over ads)

I don't play on laptop so don't have that problem, but it's clear to see that there are performance concerns with it that cripple the browser when playing it. When playing large maps like EH, especially near the end of levels when lots of bonuses/territories/timers/smelting/crafting/techs/etc are in play, the lag on clicks becomes pretty bad. Small levels and the beginning of large levels isn' t so bad.

It would be cool to assign a special task or mission to each player (i.e. eliminate player x, capture 2 specific continents, etc) as a competitive game.

i'm assuming you mean idle battle and your RAM is 4gb or less?

schlorpp is talking about CPU tasks, how playing on browser seems to tank PC performance, not in-game tasks. While that would be cool, that's not the topic here.

My best guess is that the browser itself is also using some of your PC's power and your PC is giving priority to the browser, to keep it stable and running vs focusing on keeping the game running.

If you want some suggestions on how to on PC with better performance, either get a membership to play using the standalone PC app, or get BlueStacks (an Android emulator) and play the mobile version there.

That would make WZIB about 100x better than it is now.

To have a real "battle" instead of a "race", everyone has to be playing on the same map as opposed to their own instance of the same map.

If everyone is playing on the same map though, imagine what happens when someone uses the SAC+TW combo 😂

It means their game is over asap, ranked based on their average # territories held * duration before elim. And certainly those artifacts/time advance would need to be adjusted so it isn't quite as crazy on rhe small maps as it is now.
