Hi everyone, I'm a relatively new player and despite having read almost all what's available, keeping on playing multiplayer, reviewing my lost games and so on and so forth, it is still a little too frustrating and difficult to get a steady improvement. I'd really like to, you know, get that real leap forward and I've come to the conclusion that the only alternative is to find an experienced mentor who would have the patience to train me. So here I am, opening this thread and asking you guys: is there anyone around here available for such a thing? Thanks anyway.

@MadCat: The M'Hunters clan is a bit more picky than the listed clans from krinid but we are open for new players who show promising skill and are really trying to get stronger. What we offer is for example a clan ladder and it is very easy to get feedback on your games in our Discord.

If you take Arrow's words at face value, he trained half the clan, and specifically called out taking extra time with Shin & ZiAnsari.

Yeah, krinid's list is too broad. The tried-and-true mentorship clans are M'Hunters, 101st, and Discovery. Not worth looking at the others until you get rejected from all 3 imo.

I didn't realize MH was in that category, I thought they were in the FCC/Python/Masters category.

But yea, you're right, one is still best off trying for 1 of those 3 and looking elsewhere if nothing pans out.

FYI, THD isnt popular, its dead. CORP is also not famous because of clan wars. And yes, Excel offers training and host training games+tournaments, so dont assume shit @Chaos/EJ

You could check 101st, disco if you want the best training, TLA or Excel if you want a good clan wars clan.

I'd rather train at thd than excel

TLA trains as well gues. Master Hotarion does training games

I'd rather go to thd than tla to train. the fact of the matter is you have to be good to train, and most people just don't understand what they are doing

Most THD members are capable of being TOP 100 in MTL.

Better to play games against a wide range of players than continuously play with a single player, at least in my opinion.
