Hey guys, I'm new and I just want to know a few things:

1) Who is Fizzer and why does he deserve my money? If he is the game creator, shouldn't the feat of creating a game be enough? Just like Ireland and National Socialist, I think I deserve to just play and talk for free. I don't have something to brag about so I need this.

2) Are there any cool clans that want me?

3) Can I play from more than one account or is that cheating?

4) Does Fizzer deserve my money, and if so, why?

5) Any clans want me?

i remember when he introduced the clan feature that i thought no more then a dozen or two dozen clans would pay for that. looks like i was wrong.

2)Gain more experience or apply with an account with more games, you can read each clan's prerequisites from their clan pages
3)So long as you don't use it to gain an unfair advantage it's fine (No FFAs, no beating yourself in a ladder)

9) Why are so many people vocal one way or another in this thread if only 3 are paying members? From an objective viewpoint, it seems this Fizzer person isn;t making enough money.

I really don't believe he makes any money off the site (might be losing), so I don't know what the point of this thread is.

BTW, there are a couple clans that had no members and went away, so the total amount in post #1 is not correct.
EDIT - I see there is a clan 140: http://warlight.net/Clans/?ID=140 so I am guessing there have been 140+ registered clans.


I have no beef with the price of a clan. It would be nice to have a clan ladder/ranking system, but outside that I think it is an acceptable value. Like the membership, the price is not the issue. But with the contribution made to the sight, people do expect new benefits once and a while (as time permits). I think all this talk of money stems from the fact that almost all the member benefits are now level unlocks, which irritates people. I think a few more member only perks would alleviate any of this money talk at all.

i for one feel bad for Fizzer.. Poor guy slaves over this game maintaining it for nothing but scrapes.. then has to come here to forums and listen to idiots bickering bout paying money.. ya dont wanna pay then dont play the game, dont complain over Apples when we all using Oranges.. i fully support Fizzer and his Game of Warlight and intend to buy a membership to do so..(Once i get my check of course) ill even keep the ads on just so he can gain a bit more income by it..
