New ladders apparently get polls later.

I think I went with don't know/don't care on too many things to be useful, but that's probably because I don't care about those things (for example i don't see myself using the RTL again.)

some point:
-for seasonal ladder polls looks ok :)
-for the realtime ladder, polls are great!
-for 1v1 ladder, polls are more or less ok.
But for 2v2, why don't you put the most suggested template? the Eu template called Szeuropa? Most of us agree is the best, such a shame you don't want listen us.
Same for 3v3 eu ladder.

However i think the most imp0ortant thing is add template to vote, not just the map.
Often isn't the map the real problem, but most of the time is the template the most important thing:

gnuff he already explained, that 1vs1 and 2vs2 ladder should stay an earth map. that's why you can't vote szeurope.

Require consecutive wins to achieve a rank
Right now, the ladders just require that you win X games to get a rank. Players have proposed using a system where those completed games must be consecutive, as a measure to fight intentional delays.

I don't understand this. You have to win games to get rank on ladder now? How much it is now?

Or it is typo and it should be finished games?

pretty sure it means finished games.
but the amount of games to get ranked depends for me on wheter it needs consecutive completed games or not.

OK. So consecutive probably means i have to complete first X games i have been assigned.

If this is the case i think it is OK rule and i agree with it.

Under current system, you could delay, say, your 14th and 15th games and finish your 16th and 17th to get the 15 game number and artificially inflate your rating temporarily. Then after you get your gold trophy you surrender 14th and 15th. Under the "consecutive games" system, no ranking would be bestowed until 1st-15th games finish, regardless of the results of 16th+ games.

If/when changes to the ladders are implemented.. Will the ladders be reset?

It'd be kinda weird of they didn't if there are major changes like a change of map.

i think it's obvious. Most bc if the change are like to put TrueSkill, is not possible keep past record anyway.

Also some questions are conditional towards others. Like for example with current 1v1 ladder rating system I would like no. of games before being ranked to increase, but with true skill I would like it to decrease.

best would be to make it in 2
steps. first decide the templates and rating systems, then decide how many consecutive games or how many games at all are necessary to get ranked. of course it's fizzers call, but it's difficult to vote if we don't know how one vote affects the other.
