How to avoid syncing problems?: 3/8/2021 19:41:52

In the last couple of weeks I've had multiple (4 or 5 I'd guess) cases where the actions I make WZI (anything from conquering a territory to changing smelters or swapping out cards) are forgotten, particularly if I close the WZI tab within a few minutes after making the changes.

Is there something I should be doing to force a sync between my browser and the server? If there isn't, I'd like to suggest a manual sync option somewhere. It's very frustrating to check in the morning to discover you wasted 8 hours of time because the changes you made didn't stick.

Do you have multiple tabs open?

always manually sync before leaving idle or closing the app/tab

to make sure it never goes wrong, just only play from 1 device ever

The app - web app, standalone or mobile - tries to sync when you move from playing a level back to the main menu. As others have said you can force it to sync manually.

By hard closing (killing) the app from outside when still in the level playing interface you do not give it a chance to sync. Closing it properly should be enough.

it SHOULD be enough, but I have 0 faith in the auto sync

Never had any trouble with it. But to be honest when I know I'll be changing devices I too just make sure by manual sync.

CLARIFICATION: In Purdy's case, from what I understand, it would have been enough if he/she wasn't actively killing his/her progress by hard closing the app.
