If you don't like it than don't play! The game is called Wolves, and for now at least, the only roles are villagers, wolves, seers and angels. If you can't get used to that it's you with the problem. Dom said he may add extra roles if numbers increase. But this is his game, so play it according to his rules. Stop whining.

Moving forward, my plan for these games are definitely to add more roles to keep it interesting. However, it is entirely numbers dependant; too many roles will imbalance the game, and make it an easy win for either side!

More roles means more time needed for each day and night to allow roles to collaborate.

Vanilla "wolves" sucks... and at least have angel be called doctor
There should be more roles!!!
A good setup (only 7 people though, maybe double it?) is 1 gunsmith, 2 mafia, 1 doctor, 1 cop, 2 townspeople

Classic is 2 maf 1 doc 1 cop 3 town
More power roles is good because there are fewer town, who can get bored and "quit"

Just because you're used to calling this game concept "Mafia", doesn't mean the same holds for other people. The person running the game calls it Wolves, the first round in the series was called Wolves, calling it Mafia can seriously offend some Italians, ... Seriously, just stop trying and accept that it's called Wolves here.
Also, in the context of Wolves (fantasy, roughly Middle Ages science, magic is real), having a "cop" or a "gunsmith" makes little sense, not to mention using different names for the same thing can easily get confusing. Could you please stick to Wolves' naming convention?

In the UK we call it wolves, sometimes werewolves. Only online have I played it as mafia.

I guess I have been trying to take control of this... sorry :)
I will leave it to Dom to make the decisions.

The PIPgk can use a different language than the rest of the villagers. When a wolf he can refer to the villagers as townspeople, when a villager he can refer to the wolves as mafia when voting.

TBF, I had a mega busy weekend - always knew I wouldn't be able to start this until today!

Just been bumping the topic as much as I could all weekend to keep it in view to help sign-ups! :P

Important info!

New roles:

Seer - Has the ability to discover the true nature of one individual each night.
Angel - Has the ability to protect one person from werewolves each night.
Muse - Has the (one-time) ability to copy one player. If they out-live the copied player, they will assume their role.
Vigilante - Has the (two-time) ability to shoot a player dead.
The Muse can act at any time, day or night. The other Specials act at night only.
