Is it a bloody random alt or noob deciding to support me. Looks well suspicious I know.

Just to confirm he's supporting me in telling phule the rules. Nothing to do with this game.

Noob supporting you on an issue of gameplay, rather than anything else :)

Anyway, sorry to hijack the thread here, especially to Dom, since it's his game [and apologies for the wall o text, it's just how I normally post]. Back to your regularly scheduled game.
Nay bother! But expect an invite to the next game, now ;)

Please tell us what you mean silver. Who approached you? Why are you being cryptic with the info?

I'm not cryptic, I said exactly what happened.
I won't reveal the name until I'm confirmed to be an angel though.

Why not?

Edit: I also totally agree with kalira. I just read the first game and one player playing against their role imbalances the game and is a total dick-move.

The fire crackled on, and the villagers huddled together. They figured that, rather than repeating the mistakes of the last village, they wouldn't stay at home alone, and allow themselves to be picked off at will. They'd huddle together for warmth, and stick with the motto "safety in numbers", and the pesky wolves wouldn't be able to get to them! A cunning master-plan, all around were heard to say.

However, as the night wore on, the villagers began to get weary, and the sharp eyes which had, previously, detected the slightest movement, now missed obvious things, and in the darkness, figures were able to move at will, silently, undetected.

They struck whilst their victim was relieving himself. Being a medieval village, there were no modern contraptions, such as port-a-loo's, and so the wolf easily found their victim on his own on the outskirts of the group. He had elected to go behind a true, to protect his modesty and privacy, but it was to be his undoing, as the wolves used the few seconds he was out of the villagers sight to pounce.

Pulsey is DEAD. He was a villager

However, all was not lost, as at least one man was fighting off the tiredness, and spotted a glint in his colleague's eye. He was not an ordinary villager, but he was certainly on the side of the village!

Town has the advantage in numbers, yes, but wolves have the advantage of knowing who their teammates are, the ability to chat and strategize outside the game thread, and a night kill (all of which are huge advantages, which is why they start off a lot fewer in number) -- all of this endemic to a vanilla game before you throw in things like power roles (on either side).

My above was not meant to be a strict lecture to/at you, but more of an explanation of why people don't do that sort of thing. If you're randomly assigned a vanilla townie role, it's just what you are supposed to roll with. Luck of the draw. Yes, vanilla townie may be boring sometimes, but you can make a heck of an impact on the game even so. Convincing scum to NK you instead of a power role without anyone being the wiser, figuring out that X player is definitely a wolf due to some slip they throw that nobody but you caught. Next time you may get to be a Mafia Godfather, or a Vigilante, or some other more exciting thing, but in the meantime, scumhunting can be very rewarding. :)

(Far as this game goes, I am not actually reading it at the moment, so I have no idea how that strategy will work out, but I wouldn't comment on strategy even if I knew, because I may introduce an advantage/disadvantage. Just remember that the only ones who know who they can trust are the wolves.)

In any case, have a good game. :)

Pulsey did well, he drew the wolves to him even though his seer claim was not that convincing. It seems Silver has been Seen by the still hidden Seer although there's a chance someone else was Seen.

Hello, would the seers who saw me please contact me?

Next phase will be confirming that you are in fact seers and not a wolf posing as one. So please don't bother wolves or you'll just get caught the next night. ;)

@Kalira: Happy lurking! And as said above, I'll try to remain reasonably quiet, and well, what Silver's strategy is doing long-term, won't be fun. Stupid self-protecting angels. :(

... I still want to say this, though: I hate the lack of variety in the past game, and I really hate the monotonous way this game is heading for.

Oh wait, did you just say that you hate that wolves just can't steamroll a mindless mob?
Did you really just say that Phules?

You can very well see that the way Dom365 lays out the seer results is in fact making it harder for the villagers to coordinate, I expected him to say the exact role.
But no worries I can work around that.

Silver you are not allowed private chat with the seers I'm afraid. Only the wolves can collaborate like that. If the seers contact you it has to be on this forum.

I think it's generally not done in the game. The idea is that village communication is not secure I believe. Ask Dom?

Ghenghis and Apollo voted for Pulsey. This could be just because of Pulsey's reputation or it could be they are wolves and knew he was a villager.

bdh1998 cast the 3rd vote for MoD and Kasparov the 4th. These votes took MoD well into the lead as before that there were 2 votes for MoD, 2 for Pulsey and 1 for MysteryMan.
Arun followed suit and cast the fifth vote against MoD with Ska casting the 6th. MysteryMan cast the seventh, most likely for self preservation.

Anyone who advocated a multikill must be regarded with suspicion.

Edit: got times wrong

bdh1998 and Kasparov have also been very quiet.

Ghengis/Apollo voted Pulsey as a troll no doubt. If I'm honest I don't see anything too revealing in those facts - I stand by my campaign to kill His Balls. He is the most likely wolf IMO.
