If only wolves are allowed to talk in private this pretty much ruins the game for us as everything I've built will fall apart, seers privacy and my ability to coordinate with them is vital to even give us a chance.
I can't see such a rule in the original mafia rule set in the Wikipedia link.

I really think that Dom365 messed up with allowing the angel to save himself, something that shouldn't be allowed in the future.

and by the way I do think villagers have a major advantage in this format because of the written word being a record of everything.

As would I. Silver the whole story of the game is only the wolves can coordinate. The villagers must publically deduce who the wolves are.

But the advantage is lost because we can't see initial reaction and overall body language.

can you copy the text where dom says that it's not allowed? it doesn't give the villagers any advantage. it's maybe even more dangerous to pm with a wolf. as soon as you trust him you're lost.

Silver we have been slow on uptake. But can't you see it's obviously banned? Dom's rule said don't ruin the game. By doing your scheme, wolves auto-lose so it's no longer a fun game.

Another disadvantage for wolves is that villagers are allowed to talk during night. This is generally NOT the case.

In live games everyone can whisper with whoever they want. That is not against the rules.
In the original game we also get the actual wolf count at the start, here we get nothing.
If we can't talk in private we auto-lose.
If we can we have a chance to get the wolves out in the open before they kill us one by one.

I'm also curious how it bothered NO ONE earlier yet NOW when it looks like the wolves last hope to guarantee the win right away, all the ones suspected to be wolves earlier are so vocal about this?

Can I talk to someone at night or outside of the thread?

It is almost always against the rules to discuss anything with anyone at night unless you are in the Mafia or a Mason lodge. It is also usually against the rules to contact someone during the day privately.

In the last game, if I can rely on their word enough, I can say some villagers spotted the wolves.

All it takes is some strong convincing...

So we're allowed to break the "almost always" part, but not "usually" part?
