I am still a uni student in Australia, nearly done with my law degree.

I have not talked with anyone outside WL, except Boston, who's Linkedin I have. We talk maybe 1-2 times a year.

I'm knyte. Not old guard but I've been around long enough to remember these yearly check-up threads. I guess I've been playing now for more than half the life of this game (and for 8 out of the 10 years since the 1.0 launch), so maybe I am old guard by now.

As for alts, yes, they're trendy. I think they might be even trendier these days. Even random casuals these days seem to have alts for no reason.

Some people have good reasons. Pichu, maayan, Kenghis Ghan, JK_3, and Kratt made a bunch of alts so they could be part of many clans. Nauzhror makes new accounts for new QM grinds and new ladder runs, resetting his progress each time he comes back. Others make alts for anonymity, to start fresh, or because they need to fill tournament slots (before bye's were added).

But if you're asking about my alts, I don't know. I'm curious to find out. So let's just go through all of them and try to piece together why I made them:

• kytne (https://www.warzone.com/Profile?p=1771839161) - Created 07/14/2016 to complete a set: I had renamed meta knyte and galacta knyte, then vitriol and propulsion, at that point to kynte and kntye but needed 3 more accounts to get all 6 possible anagrams of knyte that preserved the first and last letter. It used to be very common on this site for people to call me kynte or kytne instead of knyte or even invite me to games using the wrong username, so I just created alts as a sort of joke on that (so they'd still invite the right person).
