Sorry about my digression Chris! You really don't see why I said that?

Based on empirical facts in my own life (poker, chess) I can say without any doubt you'll notice soon or late that the so called "good players" playing for fun are not necessarily good anymore when it comes to play for something serious... money, your reputation... your life?!!!

These threads are childish. WL is still a recreational game without any way to measure who is the best (strat 1v1? seriously? lol)

If you really want to know who is the best clan, the best player etc...
Create one event by year with a serious reward, 10 templates, round robin, elo rating and NO WAY TO CHEAT (multi-accounts, passwords stolen, etc...). And you'll see some guys, you have never seen before, taking the prize.

Some of the people who constantly post on the forum are not as good as they think to be.
If you create these kind of "pro" events. I swear you I won't take my turns in 1 minute anymore ;)

XS and possibly French deserve to be in the next tier.


WHY is BR, Gladiators, and 101st better than us?

Was a life or death Warlight tournament just proposed? I can guarantee you that many, many people here would not be worried about losing something they do not possess.

Why wouldn't Gladiators, 101st, and BR be better rated than you guys? Your 3 best players are alts (whatever Wid's alt is called, Zebedeus, and Woohoo). I'm not gonna say for sure these clans are better than you, but at the very least, they are in the same tier as you guys. Who does XS have? Muli's okay, Oh Noes and Inner Kingdom are solid. Nothing jumps out at me about any of those players. The French have Wazz, who is very good at 1v1 (fairly good at team games), and Niko, 125ch, Phaeril, and Ze that are fairly good players. But to put them on a level with AHOL and Masters doesn't make sense. And after those 5, the French clan has no guys that I'd even rate ok.

JSA:
1. Pulsey has XS on Ahol/Master's tier.
2. ChrisCMU have Ahol higher than Master but Master and XS on the same tier.
3. Is little of a judge the clan league is French are beating everyone but 20. So while you may be right they don't deserve to be with Master, XS, and Ahol they do deserve to be above the others in group B.
4. BR is like French. They have a few good players here or decent players there......
5. Gladiators are pretty decent all around, but since they don't participate in clan vs clan things often I don'think they deserve to be ranked period.
5. If 101st had any good players they would be in Lynx and 76thmyth isn't that great.
6. You know very little about my clan.

My ""Top 3 Players""
1. Wohoo is innocent until proven guilty.
2. Widzisz doesn't play in any games for us or with us. His alt is here just for communication reasons.
3. Zebedeus...... I don't know what to say about him....... Reguardless he is inactive and doesn't count.
4. We have better players than those above, and who says Strat. 1v1 defines someone as a good player?

As a side note or even a joke:

If this statement (probably sarcastic) is true, then why is Blitz ranked lower than Master in your listing?

1 and 2. ChrisCMU was re-tier-ing pulsey's list. I don't agree fully with Pulsey's list. So why should it matter to me?

3. The clan league shows the French barely beating the Warlighters. And I have the French rated above the others in Group B. But I don't just grade clans on their best 5 or so players (French are using only 4-5 players for the most part). I include depth. I can't put the French in a higher tier, because they have no depth. XS can make a case to move up within Tier 5, as I said, but they have no case to be on par with AHOL or Masters. Top 5 of Masters: Slammy, TWM, Miyagi, Mod (although he is a noob), Bjarke. AHOL: CHRIS37, Ace, NoobSchool, Military, CONQ. Top 5 of XS: Inner Kingdom, Beren, Oh Noes, Luka, Kenraali. Top 5 of French: Phaeril, Ze, 125ch, Wazz, Niko. Master and AHOL have a better top 5 than XS for sure. The French are closer, but the French have no one decent after those 5, while both the Masters and AHOL have a lot more depth. This is why I ranked them in different tiers.

4. BR is like French, but on a lower level. BR has 1-2 guys that can compete with those 5 on French, and 3-4 that are at best "okay".

5. Sure, take them off.

2nd #5. (can you count :)). 101st doesn't have to have "good players" to compete with those other clans in Tier 6. Tier 6 was very close for me to rate, as I said while ranking them. Only BR has a player I consider "good" that is not an alt. Most of these clans have 4-5 plaeyrs that are "okay". I think the 101st players are better than most of the other clans in team games is why I actually had them at the top of Tier 6 but I can understand why you might think others deserve that spot instead.

6. Most of the players in your clan I have played with are bad. Cheery Dog is the best I have played, and he is "okay".

Let me get this straight. YOu think you have better players than Dutch Desier, Widzisz, and Belzebu? Please show me this! If you can offer proof of this, and that player is not an alt, I have defiantly underrated you guys.

Beren beats one good player, and loses to the second one he plays. That doesn't really convince me Beren is good...

As rated you have WM and Apex towards the top. In those tournaments he has beaten 2 apex players and 1 WM player. It doesn't show he is better but shows he can compete at that skill level.

No Widzisz, Belzebub, and Dutch Desire are all great players. Knowing that they are alts will lead menot to use them im future clan events. So I wouldnt count them as my best players.

And in regards to 6. To keep the clan "happy" I need to keep some of the first members. CHeeryDog is okay at most templates. Nagromo plays mainly LD......... Dan beat Lynx in MME I believe.

Doesnt matter we can argue all day and in the end we will both waste time and effort.

You linked only one tournament...and 3 wins vs good plaeyrs does not make you a good player. I think Beren is decent; i won't argue that. But to say that he can actually compete with apex and WM members might be a bit much. Maybe if you get the worst 1-2 in each clan.

Congrats. Dan beat one Lynx player one time. And the Lynx player that has had the least success on the 1v1 ladder at that. Forgive me for not being impressed. Now if he beats me 5/10 on those settings, then I would say he is good. But one game means very little. The clan league is the best proof we have right now, and the Turtles have played very much under Blitz, and have played even with BR, despite Woohoo going undefeated in his 1v1 tournament.

Who are the turtle's best players in your opinion?

We have played much under blitz; however, lynx has played much under blitz too. If you count MoD's points but then you also say he isn't a good player.


If you want to discuss something we should do it in mail or a chat game not on the forum. Feel free to post anything I say though.

Lynx played every single player in our clan at the time (except Apollo since he asked not to play). Even with mod's points added, I think you'll find lynx would actually finish a slight bit ahead(albeit very close). And ofc I don't think mod is bad, I was using sarcasm.

LOL, last ranked clan! Over half of our clan basically left the game as soon as school went on summer break. I am seriously surprised to see we even got ranked

you may try to take managers priviledges and rebuild the clan from scratch, invite active people..
