What is the worst setting for you with the color YELLOW?

(Luck modifier, Extra armies for territorys, Minimum armies/Turn, auto dist. , weighted random, overridden bonuses, Can attack only/transfer only,)
For me its the luck modifier.

Same, that thing is THE WORST, specially since there are no dice involved. They should have a dice roll for every attack, even if there are 2B+ per turn.

Depends on the the map and other settings. Give me any gimmick and I can make a decent settings with it; give me any gimmick and I can make an unplayable game.

Again best to worst:

1) Can attack-only/transfer only: Makes the game less prediction heavy and has fun exploits like the Timi blockade.

2) Extra armies for territories. Fantastic on small brawly maps, overwhelms game on large maps. But, make for interesting combat dynamics on templates like French Brawl (one of my favorite templates)

3) Overidden bonuses: Usually made to balance maps that were unbalanced. Could be used for reverse, but mostly I'm counting is as a good thing.

4) Minimum armies: Again can break templates, but usually just used to patch them.

5) Weighted random: Risk management is a skill, but I almost always prefer straight round. Still perfectly playable, and does add a dynamic.

6) Luck modifier: Really pointless IMO. Either play WR 0% or SR 0%. 16% just adds weird sources of aggravation, and higher than that makes game unplayable.

7) Auto-dist: So I hear you like lotteries?

LD on small maps is interesting.

LD on medium maps is fun (early game) until it isn't (mid to late game).

LD on large maps is a train wreck and should just never be done. Far too tedious.

No Split mode is dumb and makes no sense. But is fine for some specialty games to be unique.

1) Can attack-only/transfer only: Makes the game less prediction heavy and has fun exploits like the Timi blockade.

What is the Timi blockade? Am I understanding that you're saying you _like_ this feature, not dislike it? I originally read it as Dislike and I was surprised ... cuz I think it's great despite that I almost always forget to use it. Agree that having good (lucky) predictions shouldn't be the focus. Having a good strategy overall is (should be) key.

Reinforcement cards actually drive me nuts. Having reinf cards changes the strategy of a game too much. It means you have to attack even when it doesn't make sense. Not as huge a deal when the cards are small, but when the cards are medium to large size, it makes the game all about the cards rather than actually making good moves.

Emergency blockade - CHEESE! Should delete this card and use only blockades. This card gives bad strategies a 'get out of jail free' card to solve problems they should be punished for. Many make it worse by making 500% EB cards, and it just ruins games.

Airlifts - CHEESE! Should change all airlifts to Late Airlifts. Similar to EBs, this gives bad strategies a 'get out of jail free' card to solve problems they should be punished for.

Army cap can be okay if used well ... but kind of like No Split, best used in unique specialty games only.

Same, that thing is THE WORST, specially since there are no dice involved. They should have a dice roll for every attack, even if there are 2B+ per turn.

Hodop, you saying you _WANT_ dice simulation? Rather than just luck? First off, what's the (material) difference? Dice are actually a simulation of 'luck' b/c it's an easy way of incorporating luck into a necessarily physical (game board) model, so to model luck after dice is imho counterintuitive and unnecessary. Why would you ever want that? Seems so backward. Unless this was a sarcastic comment?
