I'm on Europe 1066 and see two dig sites. haven't acquired either yet.

I'm replaying the lower levels for the first time and will have 4 artifacts soon, soon being one day plus 4 hours (real-world time).

I just started my first dig in Breaking Green! I'm excited! :D

I've definitely started Floating Rocks and Fort Harbor after the last upgrade.

Not sure how to check the version I'm playing on tbh.

But isn't that the version of the base app itself, not necessarily the level of the current map being played?

Unfortunately, WI doesn't say what version of the map you're on. Unless Fizzer decides to put a little graphic saying the current map version you're playing, whether it be always on-screen or in the Advancements menu, the best I can say is keep following the update posts for the map versions.

There should not be. But it looks like that somehow you managed to do it anyway. If it is still the case when you read this try clearing your web browser cache and warzone.com offline data. Just be sure to sync your progress before that. (Just a disclaimer mate)

Yea, I think you're right, should probably do that. Now that I take a closer look, I see that the Arenas on mobile have a new graphic, but they're still the old graphic on my browser. Not important but possibly indicative that something's not updating. Ok, cleared my cache and now I have the updated Arena graphic but still no dig sites ... so it's probably using the old map and I'm stuck on it until completion. :( :( :( :( :(

Spoil it, spoil it! We need to make lists of what is where so I know which levels I need to redo. Especially since I've just redone 2 levels and whatever glitch I'm experiencing is preventing me from seeing the dang artifacts. So if I redo them again, it's certainly not for the AP which will be twice 30% reduced (so sad) so really only want to bother doing it if the artifacts are truly worth the bother.

Actually some levels I've redone so much to (A) gain the AP in the initial Idle stages (especially when I've redone a previous level b/c I needed Just A Little Bit More AP to get that special AP Advancement I had my eye on before going to the next big level in progression where I wanted to use the special AP Advancement), (B) grab some more powers (notably ML on KP-X), (C) get the Achievements for Tech and completion once the achievements were added, (D) check out the impact of Hospitals, etc, (E) check out the impact of Aritfacts [so far a failed mission], that levels like Floating Rocks is now worth 3.84 AP to clear it again. :( :( :( :( :(

Everything up to Copper Creek, I've finished between 2-6 times, so the benefit of clearing it again is really only whatever new functionality has been added (in this case, Artifacts). :( :( :( :( :(

Alright then, I'll spoil. But you're not gonna like what I'm about to tell you. Nothing is nowhere. You can only equip three artifacts at a time. Artifacts have a scale of how valuable they are ranging from poor to legendary. Each dig site has probability chances of finding an artifact of a certain level. It's relatively expensive and time consuming to dig it out and you can only be digging one at a time. The dig will continue even if you finish the level.

Enough spoilers! OK, one more: Artifacts are upgradable by sacrificing four other ones of the same level.

So I do not think replaying earlier levels just to dig some artifacts would be that great if you have an option to play later levels (As of this forum post upload time).

By the way my level AP rewards cannot compare to yours - Huruey's castle will give me devastatingly high 2.91 AP next time I decide to play it.

I started Far Lands on Wednesday or Thursday (so after the update) and can see 90% of the map. I've confirmed I'm on 5.06.1 but there are no dig sites so far which is quite a bummer.

Also, have you guys been playing since beta released? Far Lands is my farthest map and the only one I've repeated at all is Huruey's Castle.

I could get only rare from the dig site, but with HUGE number of coins I can buy a legendary. That's unfair.

@hukutka94 I believe you can upgrade an artifact of level x to x+1 by sacrificing 3 other level x artifact.

@krinid I found a dig site from floating rocks, another from war of the worlds. Got a common from the first one, 2 territories fog buster with 24hr cooldown. Artifact's upgrade screen shows no indication of what their upgraded version provides.

Do you keep all artifacts you find? Or after digging do you have to choose which ones to keep?

You keep all the artifacts you find. The only times you get rid of them is when you want to upgrade others.

i am missing something here

i had an artifact "supercharge army camp for 1 minute but how can i use it ?
all i have is upgrade and close...

I can now say that if you use a fog buster artifact while all territories are visible, it will still go into a cooldown, even though it never got used for anything. For science! :D
