So after looking at how many old players of the game are actually still around in the game, I thought this would be the perfect time to bring back this concept. I am creating an invitational 1v1 once more. I have no idea what template but I'm thinking we do an old template. Any ideas are welcome!

To provide some context, back in the ancient days in warlight in 2012, a well known forum poster and mapmaker called skunk940 made a small little tournament inviting a bunch of the most famous people from that era. I was actually invited to in my old account but declined.

My goal is to get this tourney starting by 2 pm EST (GMT-5) next Friday. I will invite people an hour before it starts. Hope to see you all again :D

So my requirements in people I will invite are

1. Need to still be active (duh)

2. Have to have contributed to the community in some way (mapmakers, frequent posters in the forums/warzone discord, influential clan members, top tier players in the ladders).

3. Some sort of proof of this if I don't know who you are.

Would be super cool to make a real time event that gets streamed where the streamer is able to interview some of these "Well-Known Warlighters" after games and such.

On the last one I lost to Fizzer on the first game. Hopefully I can do better this time :)

If anyone does organize this, I will do my best to make it! I am well know from winning the last Well-know tournament! Oh and I did organize a season of Clan league.

I'm way to bad at WZ to even make the slightest chance of winning, so I will not be joining. That should save all of you from having to beat the noobs before you can start playing some proper games.....
