A tournament game and he just decides to surrender, didn't even let it be a team decision and would probably would of won it was 557 vs 706 when he decided to just leave us cause he was the frontline fighting all 3 of them :(

1. Don't name and shame on the forum.
2. Not sure that is won for you. Purple has a lot if income coming up and with 0 neutrals that expansion is cheap. Plus they have better strategic positions. Looks lost for your team TBH.
3. Ofc you are allowed to surrender at any point. And if the settings have instant surrender then it's ok. Given the amount of effort it takes to play big US, I too would surrender the moment it's lost.

just as he is allowed to surrender I'm allowed to do this

its the same thing it would be common courtesy not to name and shame but same deal with not make it a team decision to surrender, sure both things are not against the rules but its just common courtesy.

this is just a warning that dmw will not make it a team decision to surrender

Being disrespectful is against the rules. Naming and shamming is disrespectful I would say. In addition, if doing so was allowed, the forum would be spammed with nonsense from players arguing about random stuff (like VTE).

You lost a game, move on. Going to the forum achieves nothing, apart from making yourself look bad. If a player broke any rules, report them. {Spoiler alert : surrendering is not breaking any rules}. If you don't like someone, warzone has a blocklist.

Everyone can make up his mind about this game, but this is what i get for having a different opinion then unity:

(out of team chat) and i reported him therefore:

"i can red a game ahahahha you a bloodly idiot"
or
"it was 557 vs 706 when you left you dickhead"
or
"if you can see the differnace in income and dont think we could of won, you are a complete tosser"

That's all there is to say about this game.

Purple wouldve gained about 70 income in the next turn. Orange wouldve lost over a 100 in the next two most likely. Your position was much weaker than theirs as well. Team A had this 100% won unless they misplay massively

I linked the rules. The wording used there is 'disrespectful'. Of course this is open to interpretation. But as an example, this thread could have been made/titled in two ways.

1 : Watch out for PLAYER / Block this PLAYER
2 : What do you do when teammates surrender right away / Do you guys think this game was won for my team

I think it's pretty clear how 1 is disrespectful and 2 is an acceptable forum topic.

Warzone is a private company, so nope. They can enforce whatever rules they please. Like having random players made mods to moderate.

i know this is a private server i mean i didn’t realize it would be so heavily policed... he did not say anything disrespectful such as “you’re an idiot” or any slurs, just explaining that he surrendered a lost game, which seems something very fair to complain about to the public, and if anything, it’s good because i personally would not want to play with such a player

Never once seen "name and shame" be considered against the rules by anyone's interpretation except your own. It's been done hundreds of times over the years and Fizzer has never once chimed in.

That said, he surrendered because he felt he had lost. IMO, he was correct.

I'm a going to try on our next game cause our teammate does not deserve this. he also commented on the fact we should of keep trying, like west is strong but if we sorted out the east it is stronger.

sorry if I was rude to you dmw I was just disappointed most games I played it has been a team decision to surrender, like if I'm have a hard time in the game I say to my team this sucks but ill try for as long as you guys want to play I am ready to surrender when you guys are.

they did give me a warning for you report I had to type 'I understand' not very much punishment but I wasnt too rude or I would of got a few days ban which is about the worst they do, if people commit more serious offences like cheating or multi accounts in 1 game to win they can get a permeant ban but it has to be pretty serious
