I don't know what to name this thread, but I named it.

Say it is a 5v5 game. All your teammates are gone and you wish to talk to another team, a way stronger team, for negotiations. Instead of contacting every player a whole long paragraph or two about things, why not have a feature that allows that team to talk to the other team in a private chat on the game. I find it very annoying when I have to contact a whole team the same thing when I am on mobile.

I think this would be a nice add-in. You could maybe have it in settings as "optional setting."

If you want to talk to the other team in a 5v5, just use the public chat?

I'm not sure what negotiations you would normally pull off if a bunch of teammates are booted, certainly if there are only 2 teams on the board. If it was a larger game with many teams, you could try just pm-ing the most active of the other team and let it run from there.

I've often wanted this feature as well.

Not for a 2v2 game but when there are 3+ teams, things you don't want to be heard in public chat.

2v2v2, 3v3v3, etc.

I have a particular custom game I run where it's approx. 10v4v4, where it's really 10v8 (10v4+4) until the 10 are eliminated, then it's 4v4 to decide the winner.

This feature would be very useful in that context. As it is now, we need to define "team leaders" to conduct the chat.

Not only 1 player to team, but team to team conversation would be useful. Or "any grouping" to "any grouping". Just a more flexible chat system.

Because you wrote 5v5 in first post.

In n v n v n kind of games I generally contact one player and ask him to inform the same to his team; having an option to directly message Team X will be good and maybe start a poll on uservoice. Catching Fizzer on stream is also an option, as that will be easier than waiting on uservoice for years.
