How do you plan to fill the groups of the current season?
Promoting and relegating as planned and moving them afterwards with a plan like this?:

A = A
B + C = B1-B2
D + E + F = C1-C3
G1-G3 = D1-D4

I would be more than willing to assist with the sheet if need be.

I'm a little late to the discussion, but there is no way that a player who has just joined the league will be good enough to participate in group A unless they are returning from a stint of inactivity or have developed their own WZ bot. Also, there have always been, and will always be dropouts, so the length of time it would take to climb the ladder is going to be much less than 6 seasons if the player in question is so much better than everyone else in their groups. I feel this change also complicates the promotion relegation process. 1/2

In order to keep the right amount of players in each tier, one group in tier B will relegate more than the other, or a time consuming last chance game will have to be played, this situation is worse for relegating from tier C as 3 players will need to participate in this last chance event. Promoting players from tier D will also be problematic for the same reason. This lengthens the season and achieves the opposite effect to that which you're trying to achieve (reduce the real world time it takes to climb the ladder). 2/2

It's been a tough season in Group A, and the battles continue to rage fiercely! The top 3 from last season (huddyj, Suschel, Rheumakay) are all tied on 5 wins, and we will need to wait for the remaining games to finish to see if a tie-break is needed to split us. Both Rheumakay and GuestNWHSzy are retiring from the league, and will be missed. Thanks for playing guys! My initial tips that Hergul and mslasm should dominate Group E have indeed proved correct. Well done Hergul for winning with a clean sheet! And mslasm has made the most of his chance in Group E (after booting out of Group B last season) to finish in 2nd place. Viking and s1gmoyd are up to turn 24 in their game, which is the only one left to finish. If s1gmoyd wins, that will mean there will be 4 players on 4 wins! In that scenario, s1gmoyd would finish on top in the tiebreak, meaning he'd climb 3 positions! A loss though would see him drop below Viking. Plenty riding on that result!
