I know no one cares but I feel I need to clarify this for the record since I will be playing other games. I could have played this, I chose not to for other reasons than being unable to play. And I never agreed to even join the team in the first place. I was perfectly clear I was only considering it, yet I was announced as a team member anyways. I was not in direct communication with Turbo so am not blaming him.

i'm a bit confused on how many games there will be overall, it says it's swiss tournament based but with this many teams, doing 6 maps with each will take ages. or are we not supposed to play everyone? in that case, how did you define the seeding matchups of what countries play against each other?

it's just i thought we would have 12 games per nation match up, 2 on each of the 6 templates, but on round 1 everyone seems to be playing guiroma O_o

@ps, there are 6 rounds total. Each player plays 2 games per round IF you have a team of 6. If a team of less than 6, some players will have to play 3 games. So, after the 6 rounds, most players will play 12 games. I think, o is it each player plays 12 games per round and 144 in the whole tournament. IDK. Wait, no. IT is each TEAM will play 144 games at the end of ALL the rounds.

edit - Each player plays 2 games per round making 12 game per team per round. At the end of all 6 rounds each player will have played 12 games, (unless he is benched) and each team will have played 144 games. Unless a player doesn't join a game, that counts as a loss, but he would not have technically played the game so he would have played 1 game.

I don't know if Rento has released the secrets of his seeding algorithm, but I believe it is based on 1v1 ladder performance.

but 6 rounds total only? not very defining who is the winner then, top teams might not even play against each other. o_O

considering how many teams there are it should probably be like a qualifiers round and then top 8 have a final tournament or something O_o

3 days after game creation, some players still didnt join their games. I mailed their team contacts so that they know.
I dont want autolosses for non-joins, so I give a total of 6 days time to join the games (3 days have already gone, so only 3 more days are left).

After 3 more days, if I see a player still didnt join and they dont have the vacation tag, I delete these games and give autolosses.

yeah ps the turnout is awesome, as you know I expected around 80 players and we have over 220 :D

like Glass explained, your team plays 12 games each round. 6 rounds total, each on a different map.

6 rounds is enough to accomodate 2^6=64 teams and determine a clear winner. Swiss tournament is still a tournament and not a Round Robin after all.

FIrst matchups were made according to seeding, and as for seeding I'd rather not disclose the details of how it was made. For simplicity let's just say it's 100% my subjective opinion (although it isn't tbh).

@ps The matchups aren't made randomly. On the second template, the winners will be matched against each other etc. So during six rounds, the very best teams will face each other at some point.

I just made it more complicated and detailed.

I just saw that Hellas are not fighting anyone. How will this effect their rankings? Right now there are 19 match ups. so 19 teams would win and 19 teams would lose, hence Hellas staying in the middle.
