Ik zou veel verdere instructies die ik moet indienen zeer op prijs stellen. Het spijt me voor mijn Engels, omdat ik uit weedland kom, ben ik bang dat ik niet goed kan spreken in een internationale gemeenschap, maar de sporttaal is er één voor iedereen. De sporttaal is de taal van de liefde en zal daarom prevaleren boven alle communicatiebarrières die er zijn op deze prachtige website.

I think it´s questionable whether Finland is a Scandinavian country or not, but definately a Nordic one. Many do include Finland as a Scandinavian country though so I don´t see why it couldn´t be so in a tournament like this.

The nordic countries include Iceland while Scandinavia consists of the other nordic countries Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Norway. That's the difference.

Actually scandinavia consists of denmark, sweden and norway, in english usage (so for most of the world these days probably and for lots of people inside scandinavia/nordic countries as well in this age of internet i guess) it can often include finland as well

wow, thats a lot of teams :)

I get the idea of the max points penalty for playing more slots, but may I suggest a change.

As currently constructed a player playing and winning 2 games gets more points than a player playing and winning 3 games. On face value this seems utterly non-sensical. May I propose instead of 1 and 2 points you make it 2 and 3 points, so that max points per player is even.

Also, I don't think that having separate Nordic and Scandinavia teams participate is a great idea, so I decided to rename team Scandinavia to team Nordic C.

That is perfectly fine. It is a bit strange to have both names since they're almost the same. We did the teams completely seperate, that's why this happened. When I mentioned Scandinavia the first time in this thread there was only a team Norway but this later changed to Nordic.

Norway = Nordic

I would call Nordic and Scandinavian different as Nordic is Norway and Scandinavia is Finland, Norway, Denmark, and Sweden. So, there is, a definite difference.

That is, if you calling USA team North America.

I noticed now that you may be one short in Team Nordic 2. I actually got one extra yes from a Swedish guy when I asked around so unless we don't lose somebody in team C he could probably join your team. I'll message him about it.

I know Norway=Nordic. I mean Team Norway changed their name to Team Nordic after I had mentioned a Scandinavian team. In the end it is better to call them all Team Nordic. If they should be called 1, 2 and C is another question though :)

At least this shows there is a seperation between them since Team Nordic 1 and 2 were made together and team 1 is supposed to be better than team 2 while Team C, which was made completely seperate of the other two teams, are just a group of people from the Nordic countries. Most of us don't know anybody else in the team right now and I have no idea how good or bad my team really is.

Or maybe this doesn't matter. We're three different Nordic teams, that's it. Call them any way you want.
