Hi guys,

I'm main organisator of CZ P/R League and I'd like to start new event, what could be called as Champions League. The principe of the league should be same as in football (soccer) - that means the best players from national P/R leagues gonna play each other in special tournament just for invited.

I would like to start with few national winners, but first of all I need to gather information about all national P/R leagues.

I already know this:
Czech - I'm the organisator
France - Raklead is the organisator, they are interested in Champions League
Poland - there is no P/R league, my primary contact is Menda, because he's planning P/R league and he is also interested in Champions League
Slovakia - too few players, they are part of Czech P/R league

Could you share some info about other national P/R leagues? Who are the organisators? Would you be interested in this kind of event?

other similar idea it’s considering clans and not nations. We organize P/R League but we are all the different nations. Will be amazing that we can organize same P/R League each clan and after take the best for this king of event

I like the idea. Almostricky is already managing a P/R league open to everyone and with excellent level. That's kind of the champions league IMO.

yes PowerB take a list of all P/R League exist and try to organize on it.

Example list:
- almostricky P/R League
- France P/R League
- FCC P/R League
- Outlaws P/R League
- dd P/R League
- Poland P/R League
- Etc..

only we have to talk about scenarios y modes

I was thinking about a similar idea, and I think the best way to do this is to create a Swiss tournament for each major country with -B's CLOT and post all the links on the forum and discords. When the tourney is done, check to see that the top however many are all in the country they say they are, and then make the championship. That seems easier than having to create new P/R leagues for each country. It would also let you do multiple templates with different qualifiers that wouldn't take too many games like a round robin would, since it's the Swiss format. You could do a metal count like in the olympics if you had more templates.

No, this isn't the olympic what wants to create PowerB, if I understand his format well, there would be tournament where each player represent himself and the country, but there aren't any qualification terms.

In my format, I want to use existing P/R leagues (Nationals, not clan's) and let winners play each other. I don't want to intervent to other's P/R leagues, so my opinion is that we decide specific date (eg. once per 3 months) and number of participiants for each country. And each manager for each country would make the criteria for joining the Champions League. The reason of this idea is that I don't want to coordinate all P/R leagues, but that also could means that eg. CZ league would play 2 seasons during the time gap between champions league and FR league would play only 1 season. So it would be on organisator of each league to decide rules.

First step is find to all possible national P/R leagues and their organisators
Second step is deciding format (how many players, what format, what time dates)
Third step is to play first season
Fourth step is to upgrade it :)

It seems that Clan's Champions League has a greater potentital. I ll find out if there is interest in our clan as well ;)

Yes! About nations me and my clan can’t do anything so good luck for this new competition. If we want to organize Clans Champions League I’m in ;)

try that all P/R League be same (same number of players each division, same scenario and template I think)

As I describe earlier, main statement is that P/R leagues won't adapt to Champions League, Champions League must adapt to P/R Leagues.

If all participed clans could say how long take their average season then we can find out when we can play Champions League. You can not synchronize all P/R Leagues. Also in later season we can let participate two best players from each clan what can solve many problems with unsychronized timing.

Bigger question is about templates how to pick them. We could vote for them or we can set up that the winner of previous season would pick next template even if he may not participate

no way. Hawks League is on different template each season.
just would worry if we finish 2 seasons in one period but only have 1 starter. that would be not so nice to decide which one to take the CL spot. if there are more starting spots then seasons we can finish it would be easier to determine starters. then its more similar to CL in soccer

I agree, but I would rather start with smaller number of players as a "test" seasons. But i think we are pointing same way

thats an interesting way to determine the template. i for such let the winner of 2nd highest division chose next seasons template. so its guaranteed its never the same guy, because he is promoting to highest division.and cant win the 2nd division again.

to avoid that the "ultra" player always picks his favourites maybe let the 2nd placed chose the next template. just an idea

but i think its solveable :)

1 from each clan, 16 players, could make a "europa league" for 2nd from each clan. timings don't have to line up; just whenever you are ready to make them, who was champ at the time. as host you could choose templates or let last season's cometitors choose them. i think this is more viable and easier than dividing nations
