Because
(1) I did not have time to send a reminder to every clan and
(2) I do not have time today anymore, nor tomorrow to make the tournaments, the new deadline for lineups is July 15/July 16. If all goes well, I will make the tournaments of cycle 2 on July 16 in the late afternoon or evening European time.

Note that I have a very busy week ahead and if something gets in between on Tuesday another delay may be necessary.

Only thing that breaks vacations is committing in games. I can attest to that

Since there are only 6 clans in the draw for cycle 3 (18 clans joined 1 or more cycles, of which 12 have already chosen a template), I already performed the draw to decide which clan can propose a 2v2 and which one a 1v1.

The 1v1 templates of cycle 3 are for Blitz, M'Hunters, Polish Eagles and USSR.
Deadline for template submission is August 15. Templates used in cycle 1 can be proposed again, templates from cycle 2 not.

The first two cups have been finished and they both went to Masters, who are now the holders of the 1v1 MME and 1v1 French Brawl cups! The finals of the other 1v1 tournaments of cycle 1 are ongoing, while both 2v2 tournaments are at the semi-final stage.

These wins also help Masters to jump to 1st place and immediately create a big gap with the chasers.
Meanwhile, first blood has been drawn in cycle 2 with both LuFredd and Outlaws using some early wins to get into the top 10 of the ranking. Top 5 clans Masters and FCC both have a limited roster in cycle 2, allowing for some other clans to step up and grab the spotlight.

As announced, cycle 3 will start mid September, with templates being announced mid August. Current proposals include a repeat of 2v2 Volcano Island, 2v2 China and 1v1 Elitist Africa, with 3 more 1v1s to be decided. As always, you clan can still join if it hasn't yet.

My apologies for the delay in updates.

During my holidays, several games and two tournaments finished. SNinja offset an otherwise poor performance by grabbing the Blitzkrieg Bork cup (and potentially a Clan League win). Meanwhile, FCC grabbed the Timid Lands cup, while also still playing the finals in the remaining 2 cycle 1 cups: against Masters for Szeuropa and against CORP for Volcano Islands. So unless CORP plays spoiler, either FCC and Masters may soon be the first clan to rack up 3 cup wins.

Cycle 2 is ongoing meanwhile, with different clans currently scoring well early. In most 1v1 tournaments, the semi-finals are ongoing or will start soon, while the 2v2s are somewhat lagging behind as usual.

Overall, Masters retains the lead and will likely continue to do so for a while. Statisticians follows in second place followed by FCC and Apprentice. While Stats and Apps are currently grabbing points in cycle 2 tournaments, FCC is only active in the finals of the cycle 1 tournaments, having been eliminated from the sole cycle 2 tournament they joined. The fight for fifth is ever changing with 7 clans within roughly 1000 points.

*no details were given (yet) for settings and I was on holiday myself which delayed communication. If anyone can tell me what the typical 1v1 settings are for this map (with example game and within 24 hours from this post if possible), please do! For now, I copied the settings of the current seasonal and 2v2 on the same map that was used for Clan League. The template will be final no later than Wednesday September 11.

As you can see, there is still one issue to be resolved. While normally, tournaments would be made mid September, this is not feasible given the delay. Therefore, the deadline for lineups (and tournament creation) will be moved to September 28, giving everyone 3 weeks to send their lineups. As with cycle 2, I will send a PM to all clan contacts with the relevant part of the message above.

To avoid delays caused by practical circumstances such as these, I would like to renew my call for someone to help / a 2nd organiser. While this event is still reasonably small and organising it does not take much (of my) time, interference from real-life circumstances is unavoidable as long as it remains a one-person organisation.
