Working on it...will let you and everyone else know in a couple of days. If I get enough interest, I might create another group so you all can play. I'll try to fit you in if possible though.

@Star-Lord @ ADHDnl @Maschder, There is room for 1 more player in each group (5 players total) so you will be invited, but I won't be sending your invitations until next week, as I don't want any groups to start early.

@huddy: This is really well run, thank you so much for reviving!

@AI: I think this system is the fastest route to equilibrium and that’s the right thing to optimize for. There may be some noise during the first two seasons due to bad luck or poor pairings, but the best players will end up in A even if they have to go through B or C to get there. This is better than having to go through E -> D -> C -> B as a phenom new player or a dramatically improved old player. It’s been a year, I’m sure there are rusty A/B players who frankly don’t deserve that spot any more because the field has caught up.

As for me I’m just glad I dodged Baer who has won something like eight straight off me in this format. Group 1, watch out!

@graemes, thanks! I appreciate your comments, and I am trying to create a restart that is as fair as possible. Having not played in the league since season 7, I'm probably going to be a bit rusty myself!

Hi 888. The league groups are full. Would you like to go on the wait list? That way I will be able to message you when next season is starting, or invite you this time if someone doesn't join before the cut-off date.

If you have been invited to a tournament already, please join ASAP. New players from now on will be added to the wait-list for next season.

All seeded players have joined their groups, as have all invited non-seeded players with the exception of NoobSchool.

The final 5 invitations (1 per group) will be sent tomorrow, and tournaments will auto-start once the last player joins.

Tournaments that have not auto-started by April 30 will be opened up to the wait-list (any wait-listed player will be invited, first-in gets the spot), but will be manually-started on May 1 even if still waiting for players to join.

I am trying to give every player the best chance of participating, while at the same time ensuring that we keep the number of players and start dates for each group reasonably close together.

All invitations have now been sent to participating players. This means that the tournaments will auto-start once the last spot fills. Good luck everyone, and (hopefully for me) I'll see some of you in Group A after the restart.

A reminder that should a tournament still be waiting on a player to join, I will manually start it in one week from today. (May 1st) One day prior to a manual start, I will invite everyone on the wait-list so that hopefully the tournament will be filled. First in first served to the wait-listed players if it gets to that.

I'll join when there's an opening.
