This player has been posting my templates that he slightly edited and has my name removed from them
My trademark is usually ~TungstenTrex~ (even though my name changes, it'll always be that), and now it's just a ~
It's fucking insulting.

You can't own a template. Hence you can't steal one either.

(Not debating moral here. Just stating the fact.)

EDIT: In fact, it's smart to copy and save your own template. Else the owner can change the template and you end up with something else when you try to (re)create a game.

What I mean, is that if you play a template a lot, it's best to save your own copy the way WZ is designed. You can only control your own copy, so unless you save your own copy the template creator can just delete it or modify it.

@TBest: diplo templates take some effort to set up properly (about as much, tbh, as the latter half of making a map if you do it right). So while you're right that there's no built-in mechanism for claiming rights on a template, well... diplo isn't exactly built on built-in features in the first place. It's just common courtesy to respect the person that put in effort into creating a template.

Unfortunately there's not much recourse beyond telling other diplo players (the good diplo community is kind of tight-knit) and/or blacklisting afaict. :( Sucks this happened to you, Tungsten.

Making a template doesn't make you special. Stealing a map would be a problem, but a f****** template? Who cares.

Maybe post your template and the apparent copied one.

Copied one has never started as far as I know.
