Best of 5 vs pardon could go either way IMO, 5 games is a small sample size, but yes, as Xeno quoted. I meant I'd expect to win at least 13 of the 25 games, not that I'd win at least 3 of the 5 in every single series.

Except I don't give a shit what the result would be. I never specifically mentioned Pardon at all. It was a response to a comment about the top 5 on the ladder being a definitive ranking.

Which it isn't, but even if it was, in that context all games would be strat 1v1.

my plan is to go 1 game at a time, 2 days 23 hours 59 minutes per turn, and stay at the top for 8 straight years. and point anyone who complains about it to this very thread, where people say we can play as slow as we want to.

When you make a meme talking about how Masters "That's our secret, We get into the top 10 and finish one game a month" talking about how they play slow to grind out the top for their benefit. Than looking at yourself immediately dropping down to 1 game at a time as soon as the option becomes available, shows you are being either an idiot or a hypocrite.

Play as you like in regards to games (although playing 1 game is pretty lame as a #1 player).. but don't make a meme against something you are doing at the moment with only playing 1 game at a time.

i'm playing vs a guy purposely taking his turns after 2 days 23 hours, and i'm the one who is 'lame' lol

every single turn.

playing 1-2 games at a time is something i now understand. it's fucking draining playing good players every time. it looks like manipulation and stalling and i'm sure it is for some people -- but it's understandable to want to slow down.

(and no, that's not what fireice is doing. he's playing 5 at a time and has completed like 20 games since ours began)
