Now your education system tells you you are the "leading superpower"? Leading what? Military spending? That's where you are leading.

terms of environnemental policies, China beats the US any day. True, they pollute twice as much as America, but guess what, there's 4 times more people living in China than in America.

Americans thus pollute twice as much as China.

Boy howdy I'm glad the environment cares about how much pollution per person there is

-Largest Military
-Largest GDP
-Permanent U.N Seat
-NATO leader
-Large Nuclear Stockpile

Sounds like a superpower to me but feel free to tell me what your vastly superior education system says instead.

freedom of speech (regardless of how offensive the speech is), etc.

In America, but not in Europe. There are a lot of things which are considered illegal to say in Europe, while in America it's considered legal due to the first amendment.

Let's just take China as an example and compare Romans in 100AD and contemporary China.

Let's do that indeed...you start since you're the one claiming things.

-Largest GDP

those numbers are full-likely to be bigger than they actually are just for prestige, there's nothing stopping countries from rigging it to some extent.

-Largest Military

same principle here, noone would publish their full military cans.

Reread what I wrote. I didn't deny it is a superpower. I just said it's not the "leading superpower".

Undoubted, the USA has by far the biggest military, but in times of nuclear weapons and global alliances, a giant tax money consuming military for conventional warfare is rather outdated.

USA has not the largest GDP, the EU and China excel their GDP. But still without economical allies the US will easily be outnumbered. In terms of PPP; Switzerland, Norway, Singapore, Luxembourg, Ireland, United Arab Emirates and Qatar excel the USA.

Why is a permanent UN seat a criteria for a superpower. however, russia, china, france and great britain have a permanent seat as well ...

NATO leader, which is according to President Trump obsolete.

How many nukes does one country need?

I have just now realized how important it must be for the US to be in the Paris Accord. Thankfully half of the media has enlightened me that the world will now catch no fire due to global warming, and that hail will kill the crops the frogs don't eat.

I am now very upset that Obama didn't do more to make the US entering the Paris Accord something more permanent than signing an Executive Order that could be overturned by the next administration.

I'm thinking Obama should have followed the procedures in the Constitution to have 2/3 of the Senate debate and approve the terms of the deal. But hey, you can't everyone to be a Constitutional Scholar.

....wait a minute... he taught Constitutional Law at one of the best law schools in the country and graduated from the top law school in the country......

Is it possible that the Paris Accord was not that good of a deal, would have had a minimal effect, would have cost the US billions?

*Sigh* You're really going to make that statement when it's very easy to look up the current GDP statistics? The IMF, World Bank, and United Nations all list the U.S as having a higher GDP than China in their respective reports. The EU does have higher depending on the metrics used but the EU isn't even a singular nation, it's a conglomerate. When you need over a dozen countries to rival a single outside nation that's not really saying much.

Anyways, here's the sources since I'm sure you'll try to argue it:
Wikipedia Link:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_GDP_(nominal)

"Oh but Wikipedia isn't a credible source"
Follow the citations then, I'll even link you the World Bank's list directly:
http://databank.worldbank.org/data/download/GDP.pdf

Links to the UN and IMF calculations can be found in the citations of the same wikipedia page. So unless you're going to tell me that the UN, IMF, and World Bank are all unreliable sources than I stand by my claim of U.S having highest GDP output.

In terms of PPP; Switzerland, Norway, Singapore, Luxembourg, Ireland, United Arab Emirates and Qatar excel the USA.

I had to look a bit to see where you were getting this from. You're not even referring to GDP at this point but GNI rankings. I'll concede that you're right there, but this only means something if you think GNI/PPP is more valuable than GDP.

either way each these numbers can be faked since they just rely mostly on government sources.

At any rate, argument is not about the USA being very strong and arguably the strongest.
