Trump has announced that he plans to pull us Americans out of the Paris Climate Accord. Again he proves his stubborn inability to act on the facts regarding the danger of global warming. He claims it's all about jobs when more people are employed in clean energy than coal, and we must go America First. I guess that means letting China, which "rapes us" (his words) take the lead in economic development in clean energy.
But luckily I live in Ohio far from any ocean. (That is sarcasm)

his stubborn inability

Don't blame the hand for the brain.

And the brain knows it's wrong, but the brain does what's best for itself, which is getting paid (at the cost of tens of thousands of lives).

people who don't believe in climate change are becoming more and more of a minority.

soon you'll be like the Westboro Baptist Church- a bunch of eejits who believe lies and have no real power

but for now we have to deal with the last power-grab of the fact-denying bampots who've gone out in a fit of rage.

Trump won't break the environment, especially since India and China are making huge steps in reversing, or at least mitigating climate change.

i hope that ferret on his head dies from air pollution.

Sorry Mr. President, but I can't support this decision.

I'm all for taking measures to stop the crippling of various industries just to shut up those alarmist "the sky is falling"-type people. But there are much better ways of doing that than just out right pulling out of the agreement. Renegotiating it should've been the first step taken. It's obvious that the original benchmarks set by the Obama administration for the US reduction in carbon emissions are way too ambitious and costly to businesses. That said, none of the provisions were set to go into effect until 2020 so there was plenty of wiggle room to renegotiate and get a better deal for America (which was your intention, Mr. President).

Unfortunately, it is clear that the climate science-denying wing of the party has gotten the President's ear and that despite what he says, he has no desire to renegotiate the American place in the Paris Accord.

On the bright side, American taxpayers won't have to foot the bill for less advanced countries to start going green and our tremendous businesses won't have to deal with crippling regulations and will be able to create more jobs. JOBS JOBS JOBS!

Hi there. Western PA man speaking.

Mr. President, you cannot bring back coal jobs to places that have no coal anymore. Please work towards more efficient, and less expensive clean energy.

Thanks.

Terrible for the environnement, and a geopolitical fuck up. Trump is with his non-sense giving up many geopolitical assets America had. Pissing off old allies in Europe and blowing up the Saudis, giving room for China and Russia to promote their core agendas, leaving the Paris accord, ... Trump is weakening the US position in the world by each day that goes by.

But really, I won't complain, I totally support Trump's crusade to make America a third world country again! With a weaker America, the world may finally get more peaceful, and it seems like it's gonna strenghen Europe into taking a more proactive position in the world as the new center of western values. Even the environnement may be fine if China, and the EU decide to accelerate the push for stronger environnemental policies...

Am with TG here, anything that sidelines 'merica is great on the long term.

That aside, it wasn't as big of a fuckup as people make it - he'd still have to cut a fuckload of taxes for the US to be worth staying in for big business (the main source of the issue), China and India are still far superior choices in that aspect.

A third world USA would only help the world. They have been useful in the past, but now they serve no purpose anymore.

A weaker America leads to more wars, believe me.

I don't want a weak America, just a weak USA.

Also the US caused more wars than it solved it. Do you wanna deny that?

Tabby, you are labeling people. "peafowls", "STEM", "caninist"...

Reducing someone ideas, morals, concepts to a label is a falacy.

If i dont agree with your ideas, i cant just say "because tabby is autist".
