The game with Verzehrer was made but he didn't join in 3 day's. I remember well as it was the only dubbed template of my 9 games.

No. Just no. Next time think a bit more about your ideas, but it could end up with only 5 available templates between 2 players. truely not what this clot is about!

Yes with both having 15 different veto's, there will be only 5 available templates between 2 players. I don't see a problem with 5 templates they both like, it should only make for better games. But I agree 15 is a bit much, 10 would be better, so there will be at least 15 different templates between players, what is still 50% more then the real-time ladder has.

First of all thank you, the MDL seems to be awesome! Much better than 1v1 ladder for me.

@ Orange: The idea is to find the best player on several templates. The veto is only to vote something out you absolutely hate to play (f.e. I would vote commanders or multi attack out). Maximum 5 veto's seems OK to me.

I would definitely not increase the number of vetos. The whole idea I wasn't sure about because I was afraid that everyone will pick the no split and multi-attack templates and I never wind up playing those. But on the other hand I've happily put one veto to use already :)

Also. Congrats Njord on being 1st in the ladder!

this has to stop. im not 1st on the ladder... i am just the first to be ranked because of having 20 games finished and that is because of me getting booted in several games

Can't you replace the numeric link, with "Bye" or "Failed to Join" or "Forfeit" , well you get the point :P

The game link lets me debug issues quickly. So I'd rather leave it there :P It's not too different from a game won by boot. When you click on a game which has been deleted you know why :)

Like some other folks have pointed out, the goal of this ladder is to test players on a variety of templates. So vetoing 10 or 15 templates seems excessive. However, I will consider increasing the limit to 5, as I add a few more templates(coming soon!)

Do games on this ladder affect Warlight accounts (wins, losses, boots)?

^Yes the games are ranked: wins, losses, boots will all count. Only a lost because of not joining a game in three days will not affect Warlight accounts.

I hope there will be a light-fog template added. :D

If you join the ladder, there will be normal, ranked games on warlight created for you. They will affect all your stats just like every other ranked game.

*User clicks top player to check games* (or any player to prepare or check out template or recent finished games or whatever)

*User gets annoyed* (User Thinks, does this ladder even work?)

I mean, sure you can keep the gameID there, just don't make me waste time opening deleted games :/ All that is needed is some small indicator.
