Well, I recently finished making my second map (https://www.warlight.net/SinglePlayer?PreviewMap=60425). It combines both territories and cities, with cities being circles inside of or between territories. However, a problem occured and I can find no soluton to it so far.

In this picture (http://prntscr.com/cr1f61) there is a territory (province) and a city in it. Everything is well, until the province (the outside territory) gets selected. Upon selection, the city is misteriously MIA (as shown here – http://prntscr.com/cr1f5v)

Another example – upon selection, the city here (http://prntscr.com/cr1f5s) is completely visible. When one of the territories that surround him gets selected though, it becomes the back of an iPhone (half a city) – http://prntscr.com/cr1f62. Were all its surrounding territories to be selected, it would become invisible – like this cowardly city (http://prntscr.com/cr1f5x), which was once like http://prntscr.com/cr1f60.

Any help on this quite big for me a problem is greatly^1000 appreciated!

See: https://www.warlight.net/wiki/Inkscape_tips#Cutting_holes

You can't have overlapping territories, so that is the issue. Hence you need to make a "hole" in the territories that covers up another territory, when selected. (WL brings selected territory to the top.)

Not sure if I got it right, but I assume the objects in the SVG overlap. You should cut the smaller one out of the bigger surrounding one. Can be done by selecting both and pressing Control + /
