I saw two threads recently with the titles "Benefits of circumcision", and was wondering, why can players just make a thread, get down voted, and make the same thread again?

...And get downvoted again. lol

But yeah, after getting a couple threads downvoted (3?), a cooldown of a couple hours/days (not exceeding a week imo) should be issued.

The problem is that in such case moderation is required - either manual downvoting of duplicates or bans.

Disallowing creating exactly the same threads would not help as trolls would switch to "taxation is theft, thread #171" or "I am not nazi but... - new thread nk3rini9".

You've made more than one thread in the last week, I think you need a cooldown. Everybody should only be able to make one thread per week. Also we should only be able to play one game per week.

On Reddit, if you have negative overall karma (votes), it makes you wait 10 minutes to make another thread or comment. Something like that would probably be a good idea, to prevent this shit.
