A simple question:

If I start a tournament using a template which has the option "Game starts automatically when all players have joined" turned OFF, what happens? Who will the system prompt to start each game?

Thanks!

Oh, that's too bad.

Are there any good ways to 'stall' a tournament game from starting? (As the host of the tournament, that is - I don't want to stall *someone else's* tournament.)

You can with RT, I don't think you can with MD though, what's the reason?

It's for my "Mafia" Experiment.

I set it not to start automatically, but it looks like that might not work. That's disappointing!

Is there anything I can do to remedy the situation?

You'll have to use a CLOT to get around the restriction. Or go the manual route.

Update: It turns out it's not as big a problem as I thought.

The tournament requires everyone to "Join" the game when it starts, which allows you to postpone the game as long as necessary (as we did), simply by having one player not join until everyone is ready.

Of course, this would still be immensely easier with the addition of "Private Games"!

I think that was only because some people had their primary and secondary colors taken by higher level players, so they had to choose another one. I got my primary color so I didn't have to join.

Oh, that's a shame. So it *doesn't* work after all.

Dang! This is tricky.

(It's also funny, in a way, that you are the one who posted here about this... because you are the one who has "my" colour! I am now brown in this game because of you. :) )
