Anyway, I'm probably much closer to 60 when it comes to typing casually, because in the tests I always found myself reading 1 or 2 words faster than I was typing, and when just chatting, you don't have this luxury. Also, the varying difficulties of each test, change a lot in speed.

50wpm, it was 54 but i made 4 errors

Mine is 66 but 60 because my memory sucks.

I preferred speaking over writing because i can always talk quickly but my typing and writing skills are bad too.

Maybe i should use google voice to type stuff up (only if the recognition didnt suck)

I had 73 but I had trouble with my keyboard which was not a qwerty keyboard but an azerty keyboard (standard in Belgium and France). Certainly I'd be typing fasting if it weren't for my keyboard which is not suitable for typing English texts. But yeah I've taken some courses in typewriting some years ago. Typing in French goes a lot better than typing in Dutch or English for me though..

40 WEM in French (the diacrits really trip me up)

123 wpm - 98 discounting typos

Wow eveybody seems to have above 60 when the average typist is said to be 36 WPM and average touch typist at 58 WPM : d

I am at 52-58 WPM

The average is including those parents who type with only one finger. :p
